Is that a vintage xkcd?

The on/off/wake button on my phone broke off. I installed an app that would wake the phone automatically if the gyro sensors sensed it was taken out of the pocket, which worked around 60% of the time. I was a broke student at the time, so I dealt with that for a year or so before buying a new phone.

Not making the switch dependent on hardware upgrades would be a requisite for me. Maaany people (and things like expensive, tightly integrated industrial systems) can't just switch to a machine that supports Win11. I still wear a mask pretty much everywhere indoors. I'm healthy, and I would like to stay that way. Also, it's just plain considerate to all immunocompromised people. I'm so furious with all the people disregarding the health of others. Recently had a long meeting with scientists, and two of them were plainly sick, not wearing masks. Of course my colleagues got sick a few days later. Jesus Christ.
