The question itself is assuming the elite class is losing sleep over this and desperately trying to do something about it. Right off the bat I don't think it's asked in good faith.

You literally made up fake situations in your head and got mad from it... They won't do anything, people have the memory of a goldfish. It will blow over in a few weeks.

1600 daily peak isn't massive but it's still very much playable. You'll have a dozen full servers to play in.

Nothing really happened to Battlebit, but this is what happens when you have a live service game without a huge budget. Slow updates kills a playerbase, and eventually people lose interest. It becomes nigh impossible to gain new users without an ad campaign with I don't think they have a budget for.

Edit: They also apparently didn't update the game since February. That'll do it.

The first game especially was so ahead of its time. You could explore the entire overworld without any loading screens while running at a smooth 60FPS.

FWIW I really like this one. It doesn't beat your head with microtransactions and it avoids FOMO by allowing you to always access previous seasons' passes. Also every character is unlocked by default.

Ubisoft just launching flop after flop. I expect to see Skull and Bones shut down soon as well. They also cancelled the newest Division game this year and are scrambling to gain interest for AC Shadows.

Not looking good for them, but also good riddance.

The first XeSS is very underrated IMO. I found that it generally looks a lot better than what FSR had at the time.

You might like Overgrowth, it has a very physics-driven combat system.

The reason games don't do combat with physics is because they tend to be insanely janky and inconsistent. You wouldn't want to swing your sword and have it get caught in something then die.
