Exactly what I thought hah. We're still doing the slow walk and camera pans to show the environment?

You can tell this episode was made by different people compared to episodes 2-7. Way better in every way, especially pacing.

I hope kingpin dies next episode TBH, as much as I enjoy him it would be great if he can step aside so the series has another main villain for next season.

He's president of Nintendo of America, so he took Reggie's place, not Iwata

Lots of blatant aimbotting. I've had vindictas and wraiths that snap onto my head and laser me, with enemies that confirm while spectating "oh yeah that person's cheating"

And also the joycon already has strong magnets inside of it that would probably intefere with hall effect sticks. It's not a silver bullet.

This came out of nowhere for me. I've seen this game floating around in Steam's Next Fest but I didn't expect such glowing reviews (mostly put down by Xbox Achievement's 6.5/10)

The PvP game landscape is just really sad at this point. I have been playing some Deadlock with friends and there's a cheater almost every other game. It's mindboggling to me how there are so many people that would pay money just to ruin the game for everyone else.

Most people won't budge. It doesn't matter if Win10 is unsupported or isn't getting a security update, I reckon a solid 40 of 43% will just stay on it until programs they use stop working.

I love how they keep getting close to saying "Bloodborne". It has to be intentional.

My biggest issue with Piefed is how much space the UI uses. Last I checked it didn't have a "compact mode" like current Lemmy or Alexandrite. Browsing communities is also a bit awkward since it shows you so many topics without a way to sort or remove them.

Sure, but my biggest problem with them is how expensive their games are and how they never go on sale. $70 was already pushing it, but now they might be asking $90 for physical game cards. Screw that.

I'm not OP, but Hollow Knight is a master-class of world design imo. The world is absolutely massive and seamlessly connected, it feels like it never ends until you finally reach the end game. Seeing it loop back on itself 10+ hours later is something I almost never see anywhere else.

The combat is also fairly simple but very tight. There's a crazy amount of enemy variety and it has some of the most exciting bosses in the genre - especially if you're going for the true ending. I played so much of the genre but nothing gave me the feeling HK did. I finished it 3 times.

This is the dumbest list I've ever seen. Are they intentionally messing with people? How is a game that just came out "most influential"? What did Minecraft influence other than half-baked clones? Shenmue provided the blueprint for open world games and, what, Ocarina of Time didn't?

That was very abrupt... We finally spend 10 minutes with Muse and before we know it, he's dead. The way the storyline ended also felt rushed. So the police and Matt instantly identified from scribbly warbly paintings that it was Heather? Out of the millions of women in NYC? I'm kinda disappointed.

Also the whole "mentally ill psychopath obsessed with his therapist and tries killing her" thing is way too close to Bullseye in season 3. It wouldn't have bothered me as much if it weren't from the season right before this.

Still a good episode, but man, this show has pacing issues. I was hoping it'd be as good as the Netflix one.
