Same here. I am interested in stuff people talk here but it gets boring when everything is about FOSS, privacy and news. The comment threads on Reddit felt endless but here they are much shorter which I would guess is better for having an actual discussion. So Lemmy is interesting but I don't spend much time on it.
Finland is similar to US in that we have high coffee consumption and we like our drip coffee. I usually have two to three mugs (400 – 600 ml) of coffee throughout the day but I would imagine others might drink more than that. I don't need that much in the morning. One time I had so good cortado (not sure if it was single or double shot) at a café that I had to order another one.
But switching clients means wasting your time learning a different app and getting used to different UI. I wouldn't like to switch from Connect at this point even though it's a bit buggy so I think client does matter a lot. Reddit APIcalypse was all about clients and if I didn't care about the client I would still use Reddit with RedReader. Or if I cared even less I would use Reddit app.
I didn't like F Zero 99 because the controls felt different from original and it felt like there was either slight delay in steering or steering controls were too sensitive. Other than that it seemed like a good game and I would play it if the controls were nicer.
Have you tried to upload smaller photo? Last time I posted a photo I think I had similar error message to yours and the issue was file size. I guess few hundred kilobytes would be small enough. I'm not from lemmy.world though so it could be different issue.
My inner voice doesn't usually change but when it does it's a bit creepy. There's few occurences when I have had my co-workers voice as my inner voice. It seems like it came out of nowhere (well, I was also drunk and tired) and after a while I thought I've had enough of his voice but it didn't go away until much later.
Summit app did this at least the last time I tried (long time ago). I don't know how it's done in Summit. Maybe just list of popular instances or some kind of regex. But there aren't really any rules for naming an instance so it wouldn't match every instance.
It does look like it's fully loaded as far as I can tell as it shows up for about a tenth of a second before it disappears. And even if it didn't load it would be good idea to show something instead of nothing.
I've heard of it too. You would need an analytical balance to get accurate measurements weighing a piece of paper. Just cut out the part you want to take an integral of, then cut out a piece of paper with known size (or cut several pieces with different sizes to get more accurate results) and weigh each of them. I guess this used to be cheaper and faster than using computers when computers were big and expensive.
There's this one playable character that doesn't have to play on the beat but I don't know if it's very helpful since the enemies dance each their own way in the rhythm so you would have to pay attention to the rhythm anyway in order to attack and defend.
I like this game. Usually I don't play a roguelike game many times because I think too much and it's complex game anyway so it's time consuming (I have the same problem with Civilization). This game forces you to act fast and not to think too much. And as in other roguelikes the party could stop any moment so you better keep just dancing while it lasts. It's a bit difficult game at least for me. I have only completed the zone 1 so far.
Of course I don't know if you would like it. If you can't stand rhythm games at all then maybe it's not for you, but staying on the beat is not really the difficult part of the game. The game has very nice soundtrack so it's fun to dance around killing monsters.
Co-op weekend. I bought pikuniku last week and already played it through but this weekend I tried the co-op game and it was good. Also tried the bee simulator I bought on discount price. It wasn't particularly good. Whereas playing Portal 2 and Crypt of the Necrodancer co-op was great.
I have drunk a cup of ultra pure water. Taste wasn't very different from tap water. I have no idea if it messed with my electrolyte levels much but seemed to be safe to drink.
I'd eventually fall through a hole and maybe see talking animals several hundred feet below.
