Im using 4 different messenger apps and i dont really need to track it. If people sent you a message, i just open and respond. I have an iphone and i dont use iMessage at all. I think Europe is different to USA.

You could adress it, but it wont save the problem. Look at europe, we ban guns, we dont shoot people every day. We still have mental health problems.

Is it possible to search after photos with stuff like "tree" . I couldnt see if it has some image recognition build in. Thats something i like with google.

Can you cast videos to SmartTube/TV?

That's the thing im missing from those apps and it seems its not possible.

But you cant cast videos to SmartTube with it. So i think Revanced has the better versatility.

One problem would be, if they go smaller it gets more expensive and then there is less space for camera/battery and so on. So you pay more for less power.

Maybe Google finds its way like Apple and will get a wider range of phones.

What is your current phone?

In todays world the Pixel 8 is a small phone. It has nearly the same size as the IPhone 15Pro which is also a small phone.

Is there any flagship phone with smaller dimendions?

I think there could be a big hardware change for people who are interested in the photo area. I want to see how that bigger sensor and AI performs. Currently there are not many brands who stand a chance sgainst the Pixel photo quality. Smartphones resching a goof point for a second camera.

But besides this, i also agree that locking Software features is BS and they should not copy Apple with that.

I dont know how, but i have currently 68gb of App data on my phone. Im a photographer and traveler and i already try to push photos to cloud. But sometimes its not possible. So im happy about 256gb, so i dont need to care.

I want to switch to a Pixel 8 Pro, but im considered with that price tag and i need to pay 70€ for additional 128gb of storage...

I mean they promoted it with more MP cameras and better video, that will all take up storage.

I think its fair to call it BS not starting with 256gb as a basis.

is there an alternative browser for android? im very happy sbout uBlock instead of using a VPN for blocking Ads. I stopped using Chrome, since there are now add ons for mobile.

I guess there is also the problem with glas and how seemles everything should be. I remember that plastic cases were easy to open. Now we have to remove glue to get it open. I still dont understand with those glass backsides.. i think nearly everyone uses a case.

I dont even care for that water resistance, as soon water gets in, there is no warranty for it. I think i saw that apple still puts some water sticker inside the phone, to see if water destroyed it.

Wasnt the law that you could still build not replacable batteries because of water resistance?

I would love to have that option back again, since batteries are the main part why phones die right now.

My Huawei P30Pro NE only received 1 Update and im thinking the 8Pro could be the final replacement. Im still waiting for Battery tests.

My work phone is a IPhone13pro and battery is crazy good there. I hope Pixel can get closer to Apple.

I guess they have then 7 years time to fix battery life or make it worse every year.

On Android there is xManager (Spotify) and Revanced for YouTube Music. I didnt encounter that many problems over the years. You dont get HighBitrates, but everything else works.

Im using my IPhone as a daily webcam for my Macbook Pro at work. Its awesome and the quality surpasses everything.

I saw somebody mentioned DroidcamX, it costs money and is way behind the Apple integration.

So I would love that my Android can be used as webcam in the future. Maybe Pixel 8 with its new camera sensor and Android 14 will be a good match.

Yeah i hate the big Screen, i like the size of the normal Pro. But i miss the 5x zoom, that nearly all Androids do have on that price tag.

Why did they put the 5x only in the Max version... im on 13pro and can switch next year to 15pro. But im missing some new features or what "next gen" portraits do mean.

I will wait what Pixel 8 Pro will do, maybe this year they have more to offer.

I watch the anime for 15 years now and i think its very hard to start with it. A lot of things changed. I think the anime grew for itself when hitting 500/600 episodes. But they have grest character arcs and you feel with them. I miss this in a lot of series/animes.

Something that concerns me, the visual effects. It goes very crazy with devil fruits in the anime and i think the real live OnePiece will get big big problems after 2 seasons. Or they have to change a lot of things. They would hit an uncanny valley of human monsters if they adapt everything 😂

It would be a very strange design approach to add an "backup" port. I think there are alreay gaming phones that have it? But for the normal person this seems to be odd.

I would like that we can exchange those ports without removing the display... i had two phones that had broken usb c ports. A good thing we have wireless charging.

I connect my bose nc700 with an audio cable to my controler and it works fine. I thought PS5 doesnt support other BT headsets, but i guess i should check.
