  • I said tend to be accurate. It's one way of starting to figure out what's true. We can't throw out that evidence as it just adds to other evidence. Also, peer review is not end all be all. It's a system that can be gamed and also used to discredit other studies

  • I went through the Denver airport once with a work colleage. We got to our terminal and she opened her bag to find a book and found a giant butcher type knife she had forgot was in there. Complete blissful ignorance it was in her bag while going though TSA, same with TSA

  • One was a preprint and the other a completed study from PubMed which doesn't even say it's covid, but the timing sure is coincidental. A preprint still has relevant data. When we everyday people see patterns, we then make deductions from them that tend to be accurate. The preprint is full of great data and shouldn't be discounted because of what it is. Let people see evidence and make their own deductions. It being a "preprint" wasn't hidden.

The context was is the data in the links. They were directly relevant being one study is about decline in conception and the other a decline in sperm motility, by significant numbers too.

  • Tekken 7 is on Steam and rated gold on ProtonDB. However the minimum system requirements look to be pushing your system so I don't think you should bother with it. Definitely don't try emulating it as that's even more difficult.

Tekken 3 you can indeed emulate on the PSX. Download Duckstation from Flathub and learn to set it up. An alternative to Duckstation that can play more systems is RetroArch.

Find the game from the ROMs Megathread or Vimms Lair.

Good controllers that work on Linux can be found from Gulikit, 8bitdo, Retro Fighters.

  • Like others have noted, the firmware updating doesn't work on Linux. This is why I like Gulikit King Kong Pro controllers. Their settings are adjusted on a firmware bases by pressing different buttons together on the controller. OS agnostic. Also their firmware updates only require dragging and dropping a file into the controller when connected over USB. It works totally fine on Linux.
