energy producers that still don't use renewables exclusively
private hospital corporations
cruises companies
unsustainable agrarian producers
All of these are literally killing children. Not directly and immediately but according to the IPCC report we have 1,5 to 2 years time to get to ZERO emissions, else we got some tipping points and risk turning earth into a Venus-like planet.
I stopped using Macs years ago because with every update I lost more control over the computer, making even basic configurations difficult. It felt like walls closing in.
If all specialized software would work there, I'd be 100% in Linux now because it's just the superior OS - stable, easy to use, flexible and accessible (aside from Wine).
Just to put this into perspective: all his capital is invested. Let's say he has a mean annual profit of 5% a year with it (it's certainly more), he makes 35.083.333,33USD a DAY. So it would take him a bit over an hour to get that amount back. Imagine the ignorance!
Does that mean that when you're sitting on a bench in the middle of a city, you could in theory snoop the passwords and banking details in clear text from the WiFi networks around you?
DDG does have better results than Google. I've not used the latter for years and was surprised by the bad quality of results when I used it once accidentally last week.
I'm in the same boat. A bunch of friends are interested, too but none of us trust themselves to be DM or has the necessary time to prep campaigns. Hence BG3 is our only option.
Same for me. Although I really enjoy just low flying on the planets and enjoy the scenery but what made me quit is the insane amount of bugs. Sometimes it's nigh impossible to even get from the down area to the ship it out of the hangar. Once it's running, it's incredible but the lack of reliability is just to frustrating.
Low probability of that. Evergrande is so big, it can't be compared to any western reference. For example, they built entire cities for millions of people that are completely deserted and are such bad quality most of it crumbles at a touch. Nobody will save that. Also, the Chinese people's saving and retirement system is based on real estate. The Chinese government will try to avoid the fallout but very certainly not the way we western people are used to.
