Yemen Defies 'America's Failure' to Stop Blockade of Red Sea

  • For sure, my coffee stays black 95%+ of the time but change is the spice of life. Nonetheless, you highlight a solid point regarding the consumption of coffee. Being soo prominent world wide must make it detrimental environmentally.

  • I feel it, I drink milk seldomly but oat works when I crave some cereal or want to lighten up my coffee every now and again. Soy is a solid choice though as well, pretty even with oat when it comes to global impact!

  • My thought too, then I realized I've only resold one or two phones lol. Typically they break and when this isn't the case it turned into a up phone/media player.

  • My photo library is an assortment and I've only ever run into issues sending png's. It truly doesn't matter if you're able to edit the file type. Personally, I'm not big with WebM files as they don't run well with my preferred muisic player on mobile though.

  • Font is pretty easy to change with a KDE spin, but I hear you on the rest. I run Wayland on one and x11 on another computer as both seem to work pretty well truly. Makes me think its actually more about hardware then preference.

  • That or at least stop seeing it as normal to eat meat with every meal would help a ton too

  • Somewhat curious to see what happens over the next year. Anyone got a betting pool going? lol No matter what takes place, hopefully Mastodon gets a big uptick in users!

  • As I was told countless times growing up; how loud does the message have to get before you learn the lesson?

  • Great point, crazy that even if accurate 78 years isn't all that far down the road. Maybe if we listened to one of the many reports starting back in the industrial revolution regarding green house gases, we'd be in a less dire situation.

  • Floola should work, unfortunately it isnt open-source but its free. If you dig into dnfDragora on Fedora there are a handful of preloaded packages ready for install which allow you to interact with iOS devices. I'd think Nobara has the same options.

  • I'll make a point to do so on my older laptop with AMD processors. I started on Fedora 35, now use 36, and thoroughly dig how it functions, especially with my preferred UI adjustments. You still have all the customizable options as Fedora does on Novara, right?

  • Very well said! Pretty wild it appears you have a more thorough understanding of the scenario than most involved. Wish the folks making decisions impacting millions had a similar understanding of the situation.

  • He wants to ensure he has more waige slaves down the road like he's had for a good while it seems

  • The longest lifespan for any octopi is 5 years for the Giant Pacific Octopus. Since life requires passing genes down via reproduction, maybe evolution will eventually extend there time on Earth. If nothing else at least utilize their intelligence to increase their lifespan.

A Neurobiologists in Chicago linked the 4 stages of an octopus's life to molecular signals. "They discovered that before mating, octopuses produced high levels of neuropeptides. These small protein-like molecules have been linked to feeding activity in many animals. But after mating, neuropeptide production dropped drastically." It appears they identified one causation for the shorter lifespan, maybe inhibiting some aspect within this metabolic pathway could provide more time for them?! Is that even a good idea?? Soo many questions lol
