Israeli Settlers Acquire Hundreds of High-Caliber Rifles to 'Prepare for War' in West Bank

  • Based on what I dug into regarding the concept, a closed-loop economy focuses on three principles:

    1. Eliminate waste and pollution
    2. Circulate products and materials
    3. Regenerate nature

This being the case, I don't see exactly how taxes come into play in any detracting way. Plus it's pretty lightweight with financial requirements too. It's more of a modern day more aggressive recycling game plan for a community.

  • Minimum wage was devised to ensure a full time worker, regardless of the specific gig, could sustain the basic necessities. The pricipals of capitalism highlight that the prior $23/hour employee will be able to get the same pay for easier work. If their job isn't keeping up with the times, they will lose a skilled workers while they still make the same hourly. This being the case, the skilled worker would have to also receive a pay increase if they are of value to the business. This shouldn't just impact entry level gigs and literally is the most sound move to redevelop the middle class.

  • In Mexico's city of Oaxaca, the capital of Oaxaca with almost 4,000,000 residents, the baseline cost of living is $20/day. If two people in a home are working, you'll now cover expenses every month with a little to save. It was raised from $10/day which was only enough to get by, so at least it's something. It's been 14 years since the minimum wage was raised by $0.70/hour in the US on the other hand.

  • So unless someone has the free time and money/goes into debt for school, they shouldn't be able to afford life working full time? This still allows more skilled workers to acquire higher wages and also decreases the number of individuals needing governmental monetary assistance. Minimum wage was intended too simply prevent starvation and provide bare subsistence. If minimum wage had kept up with inflation, it'd be around $23/hour. Bare subsistence isn't a nice suburban house or a BMW whatsoever, its ensuring there's a roof over there head, meals don't have to be skipped and folks can afford to buy their meds when they're prescribed. There seems to be a big disconnect between what workers are asking for and your interpenetration of it.

  • The price shouldn't change, just the people bringing in the money will receive a bit more of it to obtain a living wage. Theoretically the market dictates price in capitalism as well. Nonetheless, Starbucks is outlandish and we all should be supporting local. Yet I'm hear for living wages across the board!

  • Isn't the case with pretty much all the countries who are "allied" with the states?

  • If understanding and adjusting the settings is a power user, tweaking about:config is basically a dev then I guess, ah? lol

  • You're right, but the STEM field is pretty specific and not too general. Logographic scripts have proven to increase one's aptitude in math and science. SAT's love both math and science, plus writing too. Writing is also a big part of STEM, especially if you want a good chance at receiving grant money to fund your research. If a scientists wants to have better chances at being awarded the initial or additional grant funding, writing well becomes almost as important as the research itself.

Edit: I'm envious as math and science were tough out the gate for me. Nonetheless, the Asian community has 100% seen and increase in discrimination and that does suck to see.

  • If you enjoy KWrite & KolourPaint, give Spectacle a go for screenshots. Works amazing on my end and it's built into most KDE OS spins along with KWrite and Kolour. While I know the name Flameshot, I've never actually needed it as Spectacle is solid!

  • Conflicting Outlooks = Russian Nazi...Intriguing!

Edit: Ok, first it was the hot mess between Poroshenko and Yanukovycha, then the comedian who loves wall street.

  • KDE is your friend in the trenches, Kubuntu > Ubuntu 100%

Regardless of whatever distro, definitely keep all your stuff backed up on an external drive. I had to "restart" my install a few times to get the hang of things. Yet I still keep all my info on an Vegacrypt encrypted external just in case to this day.

  • Languages comprised of logographic scripts instead of an alphabet has shown to provide the native speakers an edge when it come to STEM courses. It's quite intriguing to me this is the case.

  • My fault, I mistook your statement.

  • The same one which utilized and increased the Nazi presence in Ukraine? Which also installed a literal comedian who was trying to step down as he couldn't do anything without US approval? He did have a change of heart though, this was clear when he rang the NYSE bell followed by saying - Ukraine is open for business.

  • It's not an A or B choice in any sense, framing anything in the tech space along these lines is equal to Dems vs Reps...There's vivid documented work arounds for both, both Apple and Zuck deserve to get lost base on what they've turned into.

  • OK....so then how do you explain the 2012 Ukrainian coup propped up entirely by the US?

  • Facts! They buy simply to show off the logo and demonstrate they can afford to hang in a walled garden.

Edit: iPhones are more "private and secure" out of the box, but it literally takes half a brain with 5 minutes in Android settings to surpass this LOW bar.
