Yeah kinda this, met way too many Economists who are on the economic right and most of the teaching is influenced by Chicago economics.

I remember when a minimum wage got introduced where I am and my macroeconomics professor was incredibly proud to show how this would cause unemployment. Turned out the minimum wage was so far away from what would be the equilibrium wage that there wasn’t ever an oversupply of workers because the minimum wage would have to be much higher than any politician would ever set it in order to cause unemployment. That is assuming such a thing as the equilibrium wage would actually exist in the real world.

Yeah tbh if you’re a software engineer there’s barely a way around using LinkedIn, I got almost all my jobs through being contacted by recruiters on LinkedIn. I kinda hate that my info is out there but otoh with every switch you get more money and I guess unless you’re some kind of whistleblower or government dissident you’ll have to live with exposing yourself to an extent or miss out on good opportunities.

Fr tho the police issued a statement and they said the kid didn’t do anything wrong and they took him into custody for his own good. Because of course a Palestine isn’t illegal, even if the cops hate it. Pretty crazy way of spinning the illegal arrest of a 10 year old who clearly didn’t look like he wanted the police to take him with them.

Yeah I think Palestinians are to blame for being occupied by a settler colonial entity that got established through ethnic cleaning, during which they were leveling whole villages, raping, torturing and killing its inhabitants systemically. As a cherry on top they imposed an apartheid regime and are committing genocide as we speak.

The only solution is to decolonize Palestine and establish a new state with equal rights for everyone, with all the existing institutions being disbanded and rebuilt from scratch. Palestinians need to be compensated for the loss of land and the loss of life of their families, Palestinian refugees need to be able to exert their right of return. The German Zionist narrative is over and this conflict won’t end until Palestinians finally received justice. But keep trying to convince people, the world isn’t buying it anymore.

Last year, the European nation's weapons sales to Israel were worth €326.5m ($361m; £274m), external - a 10-fold increase compared with 2022 - with the majority of those export licences granted after the 7 October attacks. The German government said in January that the sales comprised €306.4m worth of military equipment and €20.1m of "war weapons".  According to the DPA news agency, external, the latter included 3,000 portable anti-tank weapons and 500,000 rounds of ammunition for automatic or semi-automatic firearms. It also said that most of the export licences were granted for land vehicles and technology for the development, assembly, maintenance and repair of weapons.

Israel has their own lawyers they can defend themselves. Germany didn’t need to step in, they did anyway because of the Staatsräson and basically all mainstream parties and media are Zionist.

By now it’s very clear that Israel is committing genocide, the courts are gonna need a long time to finish the processes but it’s really not disputed anywhere except Germany and in the Zionist mass media in general.

Germany still hasn’t backed away from their announcement that they would defend Israel in the ICJ and they still do not acknowledge neither that Israel is Apartheid regime nor that Israel is committing genocide. They are still violently cracking down on pro-Palestine protestors and they are still defunding NGOs that are anti-genocide. They are still not talking about what really needs to happen: a decolonization of Palestine.

The same goes for pretty much all public and private media outlets who are equally complicit in this horrendous state of things.

The first link wasn’t behind a paywall and talks exactly about what OP mentioned, actually it’s a horrible read and while apparently everyone (Germans, French, British, …) was just busy fighting a war they didn’t really care about, Canadians were on a mission to slaughter Germans for whatever reason.
