  • The collective west does have a Nazi problem, it's acute in Ukraine.

    Ukraine has been getting shelled for over 8 years now, it's been the Ukrainian government doing it, and that specifically has been what provoked the invasion.

    It's just observable reality, idk what's so hard about remembering events from a few years ago for liberals

  • I live in the US and it's pretty bad for LGBT people here. I don't feel the need to cheerlead US interventions because they have a coat of rainbow paint.

  • The infrared haz guy got banned from hexbear for saying that smoking weed makes you feminine. ::: spoiler spoiler I fucking wish

  • I would rather have a government that actually did what people wanted, and having a subset of the population in control over capital that dictates other citizens lives is antithetical to collective democratic decision-making. Bourgeois democracy is only a democracy for people with money.

  • I already know you're an insufferable lib you don't need to dig the hole any deeper

  • I try to tell myself that most of the people bought into capitalism can be rehabilitated, maybe some just need to spend a few years breaking rocks to get it through their heads that other people fucking exist on this planet.

    Reading your comments has made me re-evaluate that

  • This might be a cop-out, but I'm absolutely sick of paying rent, and the open source alternatives aren't great

  • Oh no not the freshman polisci course! those degrees are only good for wiping my ass

  • I often won't be very assertive at the table and it's not because I'm not invested. It depends on the group, but if I feel people won't be interested in what I want I just don't bring it up.

  • You're gaslighting.

    he's a Marxist, a political ideology so successful, it's produced countless fascist regimes.

    Ironic, you should probably space out your protests about gaslighting a bit from your own fabrication of history.

    It was third-way anti-communists who were the the base of movements that turned into fascist governments and it was Marxists that famously liberated Europe from that fascism.

    Regardless, liberals broadly have enforced covid policy that is extremely harmful to people with disabilities. That's essentially an admission that their right to participate in society is measured by their 'value', that dealing with a pandemic properly has to take a back seat to what's good for the economy.

  • I got a bunch of KN95 masks and P100 filters half off at a value store recently, its so cool being the only person not getting covid every 6 months ::: spoiler spoiler

    :::

  • The people pointing out both sides have dogshit covid policy are not the ones not being apathetic. It's the liberals who all went back to brunch and demanded everything re-open.
