A kneejerk reaction from an unreasonable populace doesn't mean shit. If i point out the Christian religion is cartoonishly evil most people will have a kneejerk reaction to defend the evil religion, but that doesn't make it any less true.
Not really. Unlimited means no data cap, not infinite bandwidth, and that's perfectly reasonable to provide. Data isn't a limited resource, the only thing that's committed is the amount you can get right at that second.
Ken should have been keelhauled on that yacht, but that article was deeply interesting and i gotta thank you for it. I kinda want to see a deep dive on police quest just to see the psychology of the broken minds behind it.
To be fair, most economics is purely 'because they can' with 'they' being shitheads in the owning class. if anything games (and most industries for that matter) should be going through a healthy period of deflation now (tariffs excluded) if not for said shitheads.

There was that one cop in...cali? That started actually hunting other cops when he realized shit was bad. He didn't change anything, but he might be the only good cop.
Don't get me wrong, most people are barely sentient and we've deliberately created the world to be a bad as it can be, but it seems like you're complaining about your own deal a bit there.
