  • My favorite all-time insult was laid upon me by my soon-to-be ex:

    Never had an insult shut me the fuck up, instantly. I mean, that really hit home.

  • Sometimes it's a good sign, at least in politics. The 99-1 Senate vote to kill the anti-AI-law ban of the latest bill was telling. Same goes for unanimous SCOTUS decisions. If both liberals and conservatives overwhelmingly agree on a thing, it's almost certainly a good call.

  • My local waterways aren't so fucking filthy that swimming has been banned for a century. We spent the 4th happily boating (electric!), swimming, fucking around on the local river, no thoughts of foul water.
