Those who don't like FF can use brave, it's brave shield works well

Fuck microsoft. I stopped using their products a long time ago, not only do they steal my data, they make my pay for stuff on top. And despite all that, their products are still garbage quality.

Can you suggest one? I've been tinkering with podman, but if there's something better I'd like to try that too

I use floorp, it has user agent spoofing. Set it to chrome, works like a charm.

I tried that, devices just request to alternate dns when they get nothing from pihole. I use adgh, and ig there is a setting where you can set the answer to blocked stuff, like 0.0.0.0, empty..etc. if you set thay to 0.0.0.0, devices won't query 2nd dns (i hope) when adgh is up. But it is best to have a 2nd pihole/adgh, i have one on my proxmox and another on a pi, synced with adgh sync Edit: if you don't have another pi, use nextdns

Android has sideloading and Google takes 30% cut too. Sideloading is pointless if majority people don't know about it. Google for example will give you a fat warning if when you install f droid...oh this shit danger bro...don't install it. Yeah, it is dangerous ..for your business. Apple will do the same, oh technically we allow sideloading EU. And they will keep fearmongering. That is why this mentality of people that sideloading is alway bad needs to go away, for that only store like f droid should be allowed.

Thats because windows didn't have a store before 8, so everybody is used to downloading exe. And even today there isn't much on windows store. And i am not agaisnt sideloading, but there should be some safety measures too (maybe thats why windows needs antivirus?) to idiot proof sideloading. F droid is a great example of what sideloading should be.

Android has sideloading, does google take a lower cut than apple? No. Even with sideloading allowed, 99% people don't use it, majority android users probably don't even know about this thing called apks.

thats not what i meant, i meant that it just opens the door for malware. And even with android, how many people actually install apks? Not many, bcs everything is there on the play store.

You don't need thay either. Signal has its own thing, so does whatsapp. And if you use molly, it supports unifiedpush.

I feel good when i realize windows' market share has been declining slowly over the last decade. They had it coming, half baked trash product, i can't believe people pay for it. Ms should pay people using it, as beta testers.
