AI that can process vast amounts of data and identify trends and patterns, with the intention of helping treat/cure disease, spot dangerous weather changes, etc👍

AI which is used to create crappy images and videos using stolen content, generate essays for lazy students, give wildly incorrect answers to simple queries, and stunt personal development through never needing to have an original thought or learn something properly 👎

Seems very unlikely to me that there's any real relationship between financial wellbeing and the capacity for empathy. There are wonderful people and shitty people and everything in between, at all levels of society IMO. Better to judge individuals on their actions, than classes on their general characteristics.

I always feel sorry for the people who unwittingly sold something so valuable for so little. I hope they never realised.

It's bigger than pocket sized, but if you search for Mini PC, there's a fair few. They're about 10-12cm square and about 5 or 6 cm tall, so easily fit in a bag.

Although you'll still need a screen, mouse, keyboard, etc of course.

R.E.M. - saw them live 3 times (Edinburgh 1994, Stirling 1999 and Glasgow 2005). Always great!
