I recently chatted with someone at a party who said "no, all American beers are bad" including microbrewery beers.

That person has not tried "all" American beers. So their view can be safely disregarded IMO.

Possibly someone intended to cross post to NSQ on another instance? There's one on Lemmy.ca for example. Maybe they just typed the wrong one?

I generally enjoy that sort of thing, Godfather, Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco, etc but the Sopranos is just so big, I need to set aside some time to watching it. I have the first 4 seasons on DVD, but never watched them yet!

Only ever seen one episode of The Sopranos (enjoyed it, but never went back for some reason).

I work from home, but yeah, as soon as the day is over I kind of need to get away from the PC for a bit.

Which is a shame, because I also love (or loved) PC gaming, and have a bunch of great games which I never feel like playing because they're "at work".

That seems really cool, although the first things I checked out were Deep House and Deep Vocal House, and the music that played really didn't sound right at all. So, I'm not sure how reliable it is. Great idea though.

I think I probably would too. And yet, I would tend to instinctively think of 70% as worse than 7/10, even though that makes no sense.

They could speed up image sharing by reverting to the old share within Photos functionality that was three taps faster than the new version, and by removing the utterly pointless "Image already in conversation" restriction.

I think that does change things.

I was previously inclined towards something like, "He's your brother, and I would try and say to him that while you disagree with him as fully as it's possible to, you will still be there because he's your brother, and that still means something to you" or similar. Something that might get him to understand that this isn't easy for you.

However, if you were already at his actual wedding, and this is just a party in another country, nah - tbh, I think it'd be fair to give it a miss even if he wasn't being a Nazi apologist.

So that Trump can swoop in and "save" it.

Couple of years ago, I ended up driving into the side of this guy who, coming from the lane to the left of me suddenly decided he needed to make a right turn to the exit on my right.

There were no cameras, so in the end the insurance companies agreed to split the blame 50:50. I'm still furious about it! 😁
