  • Honestly, the fact that she made an effort to go somewhere she didn't have to was a win.

  • Remember that desktop image from WIndows XP? Here it is today. Feel old yet?

  • OLED made some minor improvements, but $150 more for the next step up is a huge ask. You act as if there are plenty of easily available cheaper handheld PCs out there. Not that I've found. Prices for old technology are going up, not down.

  • I've at least heard of 13 out of the 27 listed. Only seriously watched like 3 of them though.

  • "Yeet" is 10 years old now.

  • But the cost is hard to justify given its age now.

Is it? When I last checked online, you'd be hard-pressed to find any other PC handheld for $400 or less, even used.

  • You know what's wild? The original Vice City was a period piece, taking place in 1986, 16 years before the year it was released. This Vice City will be released 13 years after the last GTA.

  • Uhh, we definitely don't want to uphold traditional American values from before the 1960s or so.

  • Just because a product isn't required to live doesn't mean that companies shouldn't be called out when they get greedy and overcharge for it.

  • No, no, he's not a Nazi because he's not from the Champagne wine region in France. He's a Sparkling Authoritarian.

  • "Can't afford a Switch 2? Buy a Switch."

  • Yes, often times the base game is just the entry fee, but the point is you don't HAVE to pay more to experience the game. In Mario Kart World's case? $80 for the entry fee, and you know they're gonna pile DLC on top of that later. When the Switch 3 comes out for $750 in 2033, Mario Kart World will be $105 for the Switch 2 game + DLC version and $115 for the Switch 3 + DLC version.
