Ubisoft is the worst offender!

There's a special level of hell for people that do that!

Time sinks in MMOs at least give you something to show off to other players. Doing this stuff in single player is the worst.

Too expensive.

I suppose some games could be an acquired taste, but usually the need to invest time before you can have any fun is just bad game design.

Any sort of not respecting the player's time: grind, making the player do the computer's job (e.g., not having an auto-sort button for the inventory), time sinks, unskippable cutscenes, slow walking etc.

IMHO, It's fine as long as there's no account wide Reddit-style karma.

Well, it adds a bit of suspense to a horror game. Not very scary if you can just save every minute.

By the way, the UK constitution also isn't a single document.

I wonder if it was too many false positives, like when some tool said the US constitution was written by AI. Which seems quite logical considering that LLMs imitate humans very closely and cannot by themselves prevent hallucinations which is the best predictor of whether it was written by a person in good faith or not.
