Why do we need tiling window managers when we have tmux?

  • I replaced it with Jerboa shortly after the the AMA. Jerboa has been great so far, but I'll happily switch back to Sync for Lemmy.

  • I would never suggest Linux to anyone who I wouldn't trust as a desktop administrator, or who I wouldn't be able to be the system administrator for.

    Linux gives you a lot of freedom if you're a developer and a lot of freedom as system administrator, but users always need help and I'm usually better dumping those people off on the Genius Bar.
