Is all bad online behavior "trolling" now? Isn't "shill" a better word for someone who is paid to surreptitiously promote something?

I have the opposite problem where Youtubers who I watch because I enjoy their unedited, off-the-cuff content keep deciding to put more effort into their channel and start producing videos that are scripted and edited well, which I find way less interesting and watchable than their stream-of-consciousness rambling was. WolfeyVGC is a big one. He theoretically has a second channel for low effort content but he rarely posts to it.

They're only off by about 1% and the bias depends on which side was up, it's not that bad. I wouldn't expect most inexpensive dice to be substantially fairer than that.

I played this character in Eclipse Phase, LMAO. Except everyone knew how he texted: with his brain implants, which he also used for hacking.

Absolutely bizarre. What kind of Google Account issue can get you banned from YouTube? They already killed all their other social platforms, so it can't be something she did on Groups or Chat. (Did these get merged into + and Hangouts before being killed off? They've had so many of these.) Maybe she did a chargeback on a Play Store purchase or something? I feel like that would be pretty obvious to her, though, and she seems as confused as everyone else.

I hate videos where the title is a question but could just be the answer, so I searched the answer instead of clicking: it's Germany's country code, .de, which has 16.1 million registered domains. The next two are .uk and .cn, which belong to the United Kingdom and China, with 10.6 million and 9 million domains, respectively.

It goes without saying, but don’t commit crime, and certainly learn from your mistakes if you do.

I have quit playing games over way less than that, lol. I have so many games I own but haven't finished, and just as many that I've finished but would play again, there is no reason to stick with any particular one if I'm not feeling it.

Why does this keep happening? As pointed out in the article, every time Snake shows up in a crossover his ass gets flatter. If they had caked him up, fans would be rejoicing, and instead everyone is posting old the Smash Bros. Brawl vs. Ultimate comparison pic.

This is the first I've heard of Jumplight Odyssey. It looks potentially cool, but $30 for an early access title is a big ask in a year completely saturated with banger games, and based on the reviews it seems to need a bit more time before it is really ready. I'm not surprised, then, that it didn't do as well as they hoped: if they hadn't just announced that they're stopping development, I would have put it on my wishlist to come back to in a year or two when it's feature-complete, and when hopefully I'm not in the middle of so many other games already. If that's a typical response, they probably didn't get many sales.

I think WB is counting on people blaming Sony even though it seems like WB is the one who decided not to play nice.

This is just like the "designer drugs" thing where regulation can never keep up, right? You can always make a new product that falls outside the current definition of what's restricted but inside the definition of what your customers want.

Sesame Street isn't actually owned by PBS, it's a nonprofit called Sesame Workshop. And it was like 8 years ago that SW was running into funding trouble due to declining DVD sales, and ended up licensing the show to HBO so that they could continue producing episodes at the rate they wanted. PBS now gets episodes several months behind.

It cannot really be about that, there are tons of incest porn games on Steam that pass largely unremarked upon, and this seems way less explicit than most of them. Surely if someone wanted to punish incest game creators, they'd start with one that's way more explicitly incesty?

I think they just decided to bully these devs, in particular, and whatever they say it's about is just a pretext for the bullying.

Early sunset is the best. I begrudgingly admit that the burning light of our star is necessary for life, but I appreciate that during the winter it is mostly inflicted on other people.
