How did Australia’s university system get so broken? Pretty much the same way as everything else

  • It's a combination of australia being an attractive destination for a lot of us coming from 3rd world countries, the quality of education and especially relevant in recent times, how easy the immigration policies make it for moving there.

  • I've never seen this appear. Is this in chrome? Anyway, like some people here have suggested, you can use a debloater script or something similar. I personally use O&O Shutup10. Hopefully enabling some options in there would work. Or you could just accept it and then change your search engine back to whatever you use lol.

  • Personally, I feel the same way you do about DRM. If you've paid to own it, then it should be owned outright. With this in mind, I would say pirating them wouldn't lose you any moral ground.

  • It lacks some of the functions found in plex, most notably the sync feature. That being said, it's still a very good free alternative to plex. It does run on android tv

  • Gdrive is an awful mess. I deleted a folder containing some 5000 files once and it deleted only the folder, not the 5000 files within 🤦

    It's still cluttered with all of them.

  • Imo it's kinda unavoidable. Humans make mistakes all the time. We could greatly reduce the risk however, if we simply reduced our reliance on independent vehicles. Unfortunately this depends on the place where you live as well but if possible, it would be much safer for the collective majority to bike/walk to areas or use public transport where applicable as it would drop the amount of traffic on the roads

  • I loved the original trilogy & the prequels i thought were decent too. The newer films have been terrible tho

    • It's not just Adobe. Now Logitech wants me to go to a random website in order to add peripherals to my computer, and I'm met with this when I go to the page they tell me to

  • If your keyboard is supported by ratbag, it might be worth using it + piper to configure your board instead of whatever this is
