  • I use multiple windows for multiple purposes. When I'm done with one of the windows, I shut it down. I find it to be a decent organisational method, although I still end up with about 20ish tabs regularly

  • Perhaps I'm a satanist

  • I read reviews from some music review websites. I also get recommendations from friends. Occasionally, I might go shopping for new music on youtube

  • I can personally vouch for Qobuz as they usually have the music I'm looking for. Deezer is also a really popular option. Idk if they have all that drm stuff or not. Ofc YT music exists, but they don't have lossless audio

  • 1gb?! Is this some kinda futuristic alien tech?

  • No, this is Patrick

  • You need to disable resist fingerprinting. It's annoying, but you can reenable it after you've logged in

  • I think most people who have found themselves on the fediverse are probably not normies, even if they might think so.

  • I know, it's just the fact that I use it for pretty much all of my media that I find kinda funny. Goes to show, it's really an amazing program tho.

  • UT has been garbage for some time. I reckon the data it uses to send your info back to them and to load ads, bogs down the network, especially on slower networks. The last time I used it, there were also graphical artifacts all over. Qbit on the other hand, is much cleaner and simpler to use, and it doesnt add any unwanted network traffic, which is why it's probably faster

  • I feel called out here lol. Granted, I've only recommended it to people I know who complained about the performance of windows. Linux is so much more optimised

  • Most stuff has already been said, but I'll just add my 2 cents:

I/O is very important. I got a laptop with a pathetic amount of ports and I deeply regret it. Don't be like me

  • Living life on the edge currently, but thats because I dont have a means to backup my media at the moment

  • Will probably cave into the WM craze

  • Its not really a big deal, but there could've been a nicer way of getting the point across
