  • I agree with you so much. Its not that the two genres can't be mutally exclusive, its the fact that everyone wants to just throw gaming's biggest buzzword at it. I'm just happy that folks have started using 'lite' instead 'like'. Makes it a little easier to navigate.

  • That's what I do. The DM's play in each other's games and we learn so muxh from each other. Its pretty awesome

  • If it was already tried with this specific cable and it didn't work, then this cable doesn't have the capability built in. Some cables like this have a bridge in the cable that allows pc to pc communication.

  • I found !ttrpg.network (not sure how to link from kbin, but that's what i search for) and it seems to have a lot of good, active communities. Other than that, I haven't found anything more populated.

@EmpeRohr Off the Fediverse, dndbeyond.com and 5esrd.com are actually more than sufficient to get someone started. I do recommend trying to get either the starter or essential's kit because you'll also get the digital version on dndbeyond.

  • Yeah, seems like we have a sort "No you!" on our hands lol

  • Can we just kind of get that state off the books somehow? Like, just give it to cuba?

  • Same, I return during the two major annual sales (summer/winter) and purge then. If I can't be further enticed when the price is good, then I know it shouldn't be on the list.

  • This is the exact reason I follow this community. You are so awesome for putting in the work!

  • I started playing Two Point Campus since they're removing it from Game Pass in a few days. I don't think I'm going to come close to finishing it so I'll be picking that up probably sooner than later. It might not be the most challenging tycoon type thing out there, but the gameplay loop is pretty satisfying and the design aspect is just enough to keep me hooked.

  • You are very much right where you should be.

  • For those of us that have been here for many years (half my life and I'm in my 40's), its not bad. Yeah, its very hot and very dangerous, but we know how to live in it and take care of ourselves for the most part. By mid-morning, all the humidity is burned off and I actually think it feels kind of nice.

  • Oh for sure. I had a baby one tangled in my leg hair a couple weeks ago lol

  • Hey, I live in said desert! I'd take a picture of my backyard but its mostly turf and concrete.

  • Lol. That was some good entertainment.
