  • As someone who is trying to get Meshtastic to work I feel this. My pocket node can connect to people 50km away, but the base station with the chongus antenna can only connect across town?

  • I've seen things. I've seen them with my eyes.

  • You just reminded me of that copypasta that people used to post on R😫dd🤮t, ranting about the stew scene.

  • Mmm, a nice cup of cccoooffffffeeeeee.

  • Amen. Monitors, digital signage and, as you said, business projectors are the way. CEC, auto input switching and ARC are all the smarts I want in a TV.

  • Yeah, there's still plenty of places where AirBnB is competitive. When I'm in cities in France and Germany an apartment tends to cost about the same as a hotel room. Outside of cities hotels tend to cost a lot more.

  • It's a kind of ruckus.

  • Bad UX is bad UX. Regardless of how drunk, high, thick, distracted, restricted, whatever, a person is, any UI that is 1% more awkward, counterintuitive or demanding than is needs to be is that much more awkward, counterintuitive or demanding for everybody that uses it. And when the user is also trying to drive a fucking car that becomes dangerous.

  • Y'see, I would have said "parrots ate 'em all". It still works.

  • No, but the Swedes store theirs in a box.

  • Fear & Disgust & Anger in Las Vegas.

  • Scrub-a-lubba-tub-tub!

  • It may be worth looking into Meshtastic, especially if you know other hikers. €50 will get you a portable node with long range, long battery life, GPS location, mesh routing and no subscription.

  • I forgot about Final Space. Loved that show. Such things are clearly too good for this world.

  • It's my MicrosoftÂŽ WindowsÂŽ PocketPC™ 2024 for Home™ PremiumPlus™ for Palm Computing™ Touch Edition (non-commercial) with Bing™ -powered device.

  • I used Kodi with a Jellyfin plugin for media center duties.

  • The UK government is still trying and has been very open about their contempt for objective oversight foreigners.
