Wow, I don't think Epic ever did anything with Bandcamp. What a terrible way to end it. What will become of the artists who use it as their main platform? I source a significant amount of my music from these artist, from that site.
Wow, that's really interesting. Maybe a setting difference? Screenshot of you're interested in my view. I deleted all the @s because of the reason you asked about.
I actually live in a part of the US where there is very much a tangible grid, where the land was divided into sections (1 square miles/640 acres). Some of this is worked out to where one section is public land, the next is private, and so on, creating a checkerboard appearance on maps.
Anyway, the problem with divvying up this 'grid' is that population levels here are quite low (like two hours to the next fuel stop and town low) and I would be curious how that not entirely unpopulated, but not very populated area would be handled responsibly. Size of grid sections? Shape?
I'm not sure what all is going on with it, but mine will randomly start playing the last song I was listening to when I disconnect from a Bluetooth device or turn off Bluetooth. Not always, just sometimes. Even if I haven't used it for a month 😐
There is so much unnecessary advertising in my country. Billboards, commercials on a screen at fuel stations, placards on park benches. None of it has any tangible benefit to regular people. None.
It used to be in-between uncommon and common.. maybe a few times per year? Probably more common for people working in locations requiring an employee to find a replacement of they needed a shift off, and therefor consulting a list of numbers they dial manually. Even if we did save numbers, our world was smaller and we might save someone as Sue. But then we meet another Sue at a party at Doug's house, so we save them as Sue from Doug's. But then the first Sue starts dating Doug.
I think this is just endemic to colleges that don't have a plan for move out. I worked at a high school that was in a college town at the time this was filmed. We would take HS students dumpster diving during move out and get all kinds of stuff for proper donation. This wasn't some fancy school, just a state school. The college kids have exams, and then have a day or two to move out of dorms. It's too much to handle for a 19 yo with poor parents who are making the trip to the school to get them, possible missing work. So - they throw everything away.
This is interesting, thanks for sharing! I lived in Cincinnati as a child and remember my dad walking to the end of our street to get on a bus to ride to work. I left the area as a young adult, but have driven there since (have fam in Hamilton) and have always found the growth and sprawl remarkable. I thought that was because where I have lived as an adult, but it sounds like not.
I agree entirely, and that is basically the angle I am going for. I feel like spreading this around as much as possible will serve not as a deterrent, but as an informational event that perhaps folks will remember when they see the fire displays come out. We become complacent so easily tho.
