  • Sure, they're incredibly dangerous. But they're still way less dangerous than cars. I'd rather be complaining about ebikes injuring people than the countless deaths caused by motor vehicles.

Ebikes will need some regulation to limit speeds, of course.

  • Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think even the LGBT+ community gets annoyed with it. It's the media that seems to want to keep adding letters to this ever-growing acronym.

In my opinion, it just makes the whole thing seem more like a joke to the people who want to find reasons to dislike the movement.

  • This is a dumb take. Humans are entirely capable of coexisting with nature, but we've collectively chosen not to because life is easier that way. We've risen so far above mere survival, that we're able to sit around and argue about how ill equipped modern humans are for survival over the Internet.

We're so intelligent that we realize killing each other is a bad thing and have written down laws to prevent it, but we're still irrational and emotional that we do it anyway. But animals killing each other is nature's primary state of survival.

  • I'm not assuming anything about how you parent. I'm making a suggestion based on the content of the post.

Roblox is probably not a good thing for children and as a parent, you should take certain things away from your kid if it's not healthy for them.

    How is that controversial?

  • Gambling, sexual content, addiction, violence.

Just because it's a mobile game doesn't mean it's not dangerous. You must have seen mobile game ads across the internet for ones with sexual content to try to lure people into using them. People blow tens of thousands of dollars on these things.

  • You shouldn't have to convince your daughter of anything, unless she's an adult.

You're the parent and you know so much better than the child what is and isn't good for them. It's good to give them decision-making freedom, but sometimes you have to step in to stop them from engaging in unhealthy or dangerous behavior.

  • I honestly think most people who complain about storage space are bad at managing their storage space.

Unless you're a photographer by trade and need all your photos on hand in RAW format (even though good photographers have storage drives on hand), you don't need 200+ GB of media.

Download what you need for however long you need it, then delete it when you're done. Nobody is going through 200GB of music, shows, and movies frequently enough to need it on hand at all times.

  • Why do you need 100GB of music? Get a Plex server and stream from that. You can still download stuff from your phone if you need to. But there's no way you're away from an internet connection for 100GB of music worth of time.

It's a management problem, not a storage problem.

  • I seriously don't understand how people fill up 256GB+ on their phones. There's really no reason to carry all that stuff on your phone and if you need movies and TV shows, just download the ones you want before going on a trip and delete them as you watch.
