Saw the trailer for this a couple weeks ago..looks really interesting. It's so refreshing to see something genuinely different.

It seems like Tucker Carlson's fight to remain relevant is blowing up in his face over and over again. It's pretty great.

It seems a little like Goat simulator. Fun idea but not sure it would keep me entertained for more than one playthrough.

This has been in early access for over a year and their release date trailer has no gameplay in it?

Similarly, we have two Danes and our second one is a bit smaller (only 90 lbs) and has slightly different facial structure than what we are used to seeing. So we got her DNA analyzed-and she's 100% Dane. It helps to know that since we now can have clearer expectations of what kinds of needs she will have as she ages.

Agreed. I'm interested how businesses will respond to problems like what Bumble has had. Losing that much of the workforce or seeing them all suddenly ask to go remote, switch offices etc is a huge disruption. Plus if it hasn't already gotten hard for Texas-based businesses to find talent it will. At some point the state government will have to deal with businesses exiting the state.

This hits hard for me. The survey is the first thing I've heard from them. I keep a tracker of places I've applied to and when, and note when I get rejected or called for any interview. I still have applications open from a year ago.

Yesterday I got an "application experience" survey from a company I applied to last October. When they asked me "is there anything else you'd like to share" I told them that they need to get a little more disciplined about following up with candidates.

So frustrating.

Thanks that's helpful. I've been avoiding the news on it to try to not get too many spoilers. I'd heard people were initially upset by the hardware requirements but didn't know the details. I'm hoping to ride out the next 3-4 years on my 3070 (no idea if that's realistic) but the way new cards are coming out every year it's made me nervous about what I'll be able to do with it.

Yeah I know. I've got a pretty lengthy backlog to keep me entertained but I really would rather not give egs any of my money. Hopefully they'll get it somewhere else eventually. That did with AW1 and Control so who knows.

Would live some thought from folks who've played this on PC. I've been waiting to buy this until it comes out on Steam so I have no idea whether these requirements are reasonable or not. I mean, is it the kind of game where playing on ultra with high raytracing even makes a difference?

I'm very happy with my 3070 and it seems hard to imagine the graphics being so fancy that my pc will top out at 1440p.

I had the 7-up game on Sega Genesis even before this was a thing. I'm a little surprised that those kinds of games didn't become more popular since companies are cramming adverts into every possible medium now.

So I know this is slightly off topic of phone distraction but I've been thinking that if phone use ever got regulated there should be something in the rules about built in screens in cars. They are becoming really common and present many of the same problems that phones do, especially when badly designed with key functions like AC built in to them. It feels like the problem isn't about using a phone specifically bit being distracted by screen use.

Oklahoma colleges are like this. They had some kind of tuition price freeze built into their state constitution so colleges couldn't let costs get out of control. BUT-- the law didn't say anything about fees, so schools just jacked those up like crazy.

Problem is that people who get scholarships often get tuition covered, but not fees. When I went to grad school I usually had about $10k per year not paid for. Add that to cost of living and summer classes (which weren't paid at all) I was spending about $20k per year even though I had a "full ride".

Just paid off my $150k in student loans this year.
