Not sure if his other stuff is good, but collapsing empire and consuming fire are not great, wouldnt recommend. Just felt like he had to pump out some books for a contract or something.
That’s a perfect example, since I personally didn’t care about the references, it wasn’t for me. But I bet it was a trip for you, and that’s great! So no worries on whether a popular piece of art doesn’t resonate for you, it’s just not on your wavelength.

Carl Sagan was already mentioned, he’s def a favorite of mine. I’d also add Matt Mercer, everything I’ve seen of him makes it seems like he’s just a wonderful person all around.
I think “A Tale of Two Sisters” is incredibly underrated, really great Korean ghost story. Acting is top notch, solid scares, and beautiful cinematography. Highly recommended!!
