  • Hang on. I just scrolled down the comments list for a couple of minutes and didn't see anyone calling anyone else a Nazi or a fascist. What are you going on about?

And YouTube is a company. They don't believe in anything except increasing shareholder value. It's got nothing about far left or whatever. Gender identity isn't even a far left idea, unless your Overton window is skewed.

Also, you've just sort of outed yourself unnecessarily as an ignorant bigot in a left leaning community with your statement:

Just because someone doesn't want to play the gender tip toe dance, doesn't mean they're nazis

Of course they're not Nazis. No one's calling them a Nazi. They're calling that someone a bigot.

Actually, it seems that people here are more concerned about companies not sticking to the far left ideology

Actually, it's people who are concerned about companies kowtowing to a fascist regime, the Trump government.

  • Until March 31st, 2026, the GameChat system will be available for free for all Switch 2 owners

Is this so they can lock it behind the subscription after this? Along with all the other new features, not worth it for me. Getting the steam deck once I can't get anymore physical games on the switch 1.

  • Churches enjoy tax exemptions. Wheelchair users do not. I firmly believe that religion should be completely separate from government.

I think it's ok if someone who is religious is in government, provided they do their job. Stopping for prayer isn't doing their job.

  • Agreed but the alternatives are not much better for me. I also use Dialux Evo which is much, much better at rendering but it's extremely Euro centric and you can't easily make a template for Australian standards. There's Relux which I tried using but I didn't want to pay for yet another license just to practice and get better at using it.

Unfortunately, for us Australian lighting designers, there's not a lot of options. It's a gag in the industry where if you hear someone yelling "FUCK!!" out of nowhere, AGI has crashed.

  • I am! Looking for a distro that I can use AGI32 on. It already crashes consistently on Windows for large projects and I reckon it'll do worse on wine.

I also use substance painter a lot but I reckon moving into a FOSS alternative will be a good move for that. Wean myself off Adobe dependency. Unless it works in wine but I've been told anything Adobe or Autodesk can't run in wine.

  • This is excellent, however I do wonder if there are similar protests for Trump considering he's the one who's given Melon Husk the green light to do all this. For those on the country, could you enlighten me?
