  • Check your VPN provider and see if they offer alternate VPN types besides OpenVPN and Wireguard. If you're lucky, your ISP might not throttle it yet. For example, ProtonVPN has a "stealth" protocol and Mullvad has ShadowSock

  • Have you tried switching protocol (if you're using UDP, try TCP, and vice versa), changing the port (if the VPN server supports multiple alternate ports), trying different countries, or using different VPN types (if you're using Wireguard, try OpenVPN, and vice versa)?

  • Man, I miss the peaceful world during the last pandemic.

My pet theory is some world leaders actually got covid brain fog and made stupid decisions after pandemics. E.g. Trump with January 6 (he got covid around late 2020). Maybe Putin got covid brain fog too and thought invading Ukraine was a good idea.

  • You can use the wayback machine api to retrieve the latest snapshot of a particular url, which is useful to evade paywalls.

  • If you ask the instance admin nicely, they might delete it for you, with a small risk of taking down the instance if they mess with pictrs wrong.

  • All these years I thought GTK stands for Gnome Tool Kit...

  • New Linux users usually do not use Arch though. Arch doesn't advertise itself as friendly to new Linux users. This problem doesn't exist on distros that cater to new Linux users such as Mint. If you insist on using an Arch-based system, then just use endeavour os which also handles Nvidia drivers automatically.

  • Autoscaling for personal projects is just a tool to turn random DDOS into personal bankruptcy.

  • Tesla is very confident their customers won't need steering wheel anymore soon, so they went ahead and fuck the steering wheel even though the autopilot can't work in all circumstances yet.

  • Looks like software heritage has it archived, up to yesterday's commit: https://archive.softwareheritage.org/browse/origin/directory/?origin_url=https://github.com/yuzu-emu/yuzu-android

They also archived other yuzu git repos: https://archive.softwareheritage.org/browse/search/?q=github.com%2Fyuzu-emu%2F&with_visit=true&with_content=true

Might want to grab anything that looks important there in case it got taken down too. That yuzu.wiki repo seems important because it contains instructions on how to build yuzu.

  • Some people estimates they net ~$1.2M on patreon so far. If that's the case they still ~$1.2M short.

  • Need to track down the most up to date archive first. Maybe someone know where to look? This one doesn't seem to contain yuzu-android source code.

  • Do you know where to grab yuzu-android source code?

  • Does it has the early access version, or the regular version?

  • So, are Yuzu developers actually have $2.4M lying around, or will they pay for it in installment like Gary Bowser?

  • It's gone from the Play Store as well. Glad I managed to grab a copy of the early access version few days ago even though my phone isn't fast enough to run it full speed. I guess the money I paid for the early access version went to Nintendo.

  • Ryujinx devs are probably sweating right now. Might want to grab the latest version in case it goes away soon.
