Eh, I disagree. I'm a huge outdoorsman and I meet a lot of MAGA. They value conservation just as much as I do. However, they still have a complete disconnect until something impacts them personally.
Git is distributed, not decentralized. It can be set up to be decentralized, but even in that case, client side, you'd push to a single remote that would sync to multiple which can be done now.
