Same. As bad as some of their shows are, some of the MCU shows are so good that I've been thinking of buying bootleg discs on several occasions. Never pulled the trigger though.

I thought it worked, but not completely. Maybe because it'd make more sense if Nebula kept ridiculing Drax because she likes him the mot but is afraid of long-term emotional attachments.

I might be the only person who didn't hate Quantummania. I thought it was actually a return to form for the MCU; we forget this, but most MCU movies are actually just okay: not bad, but not terrible either.

I think that multiverse stuff works better if you care about what's in the universe. We care more about Earth if Iron Man is still alive and has a family waiting for him at home than if he's already dead and gone. Marvel should have focused on building up likeable characters before diving into this multiverse stuff.

I think that the long game is less about having a great plan and more like making small, good moves here and there, which Greg has done for the most part.

I'd submit that Greg actually has a longer game to play than Tom.

Weird that the neon and the nudity tend to go together.

Do most HBO shows have nudity? I know that Game Of Thrones has its reputation but I didn't hear about The Last Of Us having any nudity, Succession had basically no nudity and I really enjoyed the HBO Film Bad Education, which also had no nudity.

I've generally thought that HBO's penchant for nudity is a bit overblown, but I could be wrong.

I say blame the strikes. These companies need new revenue streams.

I think people have always been watching Suits, but people have slowly been starting the series recently. It's not a viral phenomenon, but it's getting more and more popular.

I frankly would if it didn't have nudity. Succession is spectacular but it doesn't have the same type of sweeping shots or neon, high-contrast lighting of Euphoria.

I'll take a look at those! Fargo has been on my radar for awhile, but I haven't taken a look at True Detective in awhile.

There’s nothing about the movie that should be offensive to a man.

That's not entirely true, there's a lot of rhetoric in the film that implies that men as a whole are trying to keep women down, and also that most men will thoughtlessly catcall, tease, or slap the butt of random women whenever they feel like it. Being portrayed as "bad by default" is a fair reason to be offended.

Yep. That's not quite as bad as the perpetuation of the archaic "mammy" stereotype which is still prevalent in comedy, or the stereotype of the goofy black guy who does nothing but cracks jokes, has nothing of substance to provide, and is just there to be laughed at and not taken seriously.

I'd rather have an all-white movie than a movie that perpetuates racist stereotypes.
