I think looking back we'll only notice when paying close attention. We just need to get used to it first, the voice for Rick is still slightly off.

It still is. You can commit to the ad hominem (guilt by association) fallacy by saying that the arguments are bad because extremists believe them or point out logical fallacies in the arguments and say that they must be false because they're logically invalid.

Here in the states you can't watch new episodes same-day on Max anyways. I plan on getting Hulu + Live TV to watch the episodes when they air.

You should be able to buy the season pass on iTunes once the first episode airs, and then watch the new episodes on the next day that way. That was the other solution I was considering.

Focusing on one or the other should suffice for an argument though. Although you can't do both because the latter is an ad hominem fallacy

It's mostly Rick when he's shouting. Everything else is on-point. Even Roiland himself sounded slightly different last season so the transition isn't all too rough.

I know I've probably been boring you guys with my updates. This might be my last post about it until they post full terms of the agreement.

The way I see it, they have 3 options:

1. "Ice the kicker": Refuse to negotiate for several more months at least, and hope that the WGA comes back begging. I think this is most likely going to be the response of the WGA doesn't agree to the terms, as they have too many projects riding on union members.
2. Import writers and actors from other guilds. I wouldn't expect them to do this unless we get to 2024 and there's no deal. There are plenty of fantastic writers and actors all across the globe who could easily make great stuff for Hollywood (IMHO they could do it better than the Americans but I am perhaps a bit biased, and somewhat uncultured as well). Risky because Hollywood would need to either reboot or place on hold existing IPs, meaning no more direct sequels to stuff, nor further development on things such as Marvel movies, at least as we know them.
3. Switch exclusively to non-union American workers. This would be a last-ditch effort, I think, as this would cause big-name actors to work for independent American studios such as A24 or Angel Studios, causing them to rise to prominence and most likely overshadowing the major studios over only a handful of years.

That's a good observation. I doubt that Amazon and Apple are particularly interested either way, as they're financially solid and probably don't care too much about making a profit with streaming, but despite being really good at making shows that do well in syndication, Paramount's streaming service still isn't a money maker.

Where else are you thinking residual money will come from? On broadcast and cable, it has always come from ad revenue.
