May I ask why water cooling? Its just more loud and more expensive afaik, they just look awesome.

Decent air coolers are cheap, silent and easier to install. When I was overclocking i5 9600k temperature was not an issue at all. Is it different with CPUs today?

Not sure is this a joke, but I dont see a reason to have more than 2.

Installed debian for homelab and bam it works. Installed PopOS on desktop and bam it works.

Many years ago I tried ubuntu and didnt like it, this time I was thinking Ill just switch distro until I find the right one, but it happened sooner than expected 😉

People call private tracker users gatekeepers a lot. While thats true sometimes, its bullshit most of the time IMO. There are some trackers with open signups (sometimes), some require interview to join and some provide free invites to all users. If you join one, you get a chance to join another one. There are some that are "impossible" to join, but who cares if they want to stay small or whatever. Private trackers are not gold mine, almost all content is available elswhere, sometimes trackers go down or site is not working, sometimes they disappear forever.

Tracker wouldnt be private if anyone can join, having too many people might lead to take down. Having more people than needed (for healthy tracker) is just extra risk probably. Users more likely keep their account(s) healthy and follow the rules (like ratio and hit&run), they donate to tracker and they are willing to pay for a seedbox, thats why its better than public trackers IMO. All (10+) people I have invited got banned because they didnt care about anything there (mostly inactivity for months) and they are happy with public trackers or they moved to a payed service.

Private trackers are not for everyone, if you cba go for public or pay for usenet. If you are into movies/tv shows, setup *arr stack with VPN and public trackers and you will enjoy it the same way as anyone on private trackers. If you are nerd like me and have patience, dont mind keeping your torrent client online look into private trackers

Using your file was working, but unfortunately gotify container just stops after some time. I was reading the docs and I must admit I don't understand a tiny bit :D. Spinning gotify server in docker container was super easy tho. I'd like to get this working, but feels bad for taking your time mate, and I even stole the thread (Sorry OP) lol.

I think metal printing and/or CNC machining could be way over expensive, but please let us know the price if you go that route. If you really want to solve this with 3D printing consider printing it from plastic and reinforcing it with steel (wire, screws, tube, or reuse existing hinge parts), but it will never look good as if you buy a hinge

We still have torrents, only thing thats new is option to set up *arr stack for next level torrenting. Piratebay is still working, torrents and/or usenet are way better with speeds we have today... I never liked LimeWire. Just use VPN my dude

I can see simple CPU/RAM/storage stats and got widgets for almost all services, one of them is portainer so I can see if any service is stopped (most of them are running in docker). Also few services send notification on error or update

I know its not really a monitoring tool, but it works well enough for me

It depends on material type, print settings and design itself. While injection molded parts are usually stronger, 3D printed parts can survive a lot of stress if built correctly (some printers are built from 3D printed parts for example). But you are right, OPs tubes might not survive for too long (it will break between layers most likely). I wish it survives for many years tho

On the other hand, 3D printing is not only used to build better and cheaper parts, its a hobby for lot of us. The ability to imagine, create a 3D model and build the part at home makes me feel powerfull. Its almost always better (cheaper, stronger, faster) to use other technologies or just buy something, but where is the fun 😄

Using single rail for each axis would exclude most of the issues I was concerned about. When I mentioned frame squareness, I was thinking about all geometric tolerances including rails being prallel/perpendicular to the frame.

Honestly my knowledge about linear rails becomes kinda useless after seing how people use them on their printers. Example: mounting them on alu extrusions or using them as a frame should be wrong, but looks like many people have good results.

Again, someone who solved that issue on the same or simmilar machine might be much more of a help than anything I wrote

I think they should be better, but smooth rods and wheels work quite good as well. Linear rails are better than smooth rods and smooth rods are better than wheels, but only if built correctly.

There is obviously some missalignement in your setup and the reason why you cant fix that might persist after upgrade. What concerns me the most is mounting Y linear rails not parallel enough (they might not move at all due to binding, while smooth rods or wheels could still work)

Sonarr and radarr can download files, but you cant set it to not download more than 5 episodes unless you do it manually. There is an arr app that auto deletes files older than X days (I forgot the name), but you also have to delete torrent files to get more space (this part can be done by setting up qbittorrent to auto delete after some time, but then you might have issues with your trackers unless you are using public or usenet).

Jellyseer is just amazing GUI that can be used instead of loging in to radarr and sonarr, allowing you to press just one button to request media.

I think arr stack is amazing for downloading (automated or manual), but you might need extra thinkering to not fill up your storage. 12 TB is more than enough for me, but I only use 1080p.

My 12 TB is filling up around 1TB a month, so I will just free up 5-6 TB manually every 6 months. Well, thats the plan at least, time will tell
