Absolutely loathe titles/headlines that state things like this. It's worse than normal clickbait. Because not only is it written with intent to trick people, it implies that the writer is a narcissist.
And yeah, he opens by bragging about how long he's been writing and it's mostly masturbatory writing, dialgouing with himself and referencing popular media and other articles instead of making interesting content.
Not to mention that he doesn't grasp the idea that many don't use it at all.
So is this one of those things where Americans do the common sense thing and agree?
Or is this the another classic case of a few very loud and emotional Americans screaming with passion and zero logic?
Or is it one of those situations where everything seems to go smoothly. And then you figure out that they didn't add the correct rounding regulations, so you'll be paying a little extra on every single transaction the store puts at .96?
If you got the one where everyone dies, yeah you should probably replay it and at least have a short list of the specific scenes/choices that determine the "best" ending(it's something like 5).
There are also some "hidden" endings to quest chains, where the best outcome is only available if you do a seemingly unrelated quest first or make certain choices early in the chain. So if you're interested in getting all the best outcomes, a full guide is needed.
Note that some of the "hidden chain outcomes might be bugs, so at least one isn't always listed in all guides:
Karakeep warns that it is under heavy development and is "far from stable". Which is not something you want to hear in archiving.
Linkwardens "single html" save doesn't seem to actually save the page proper. And I wouldn't want to rely on a pdf to view the page.
Not to mention that the whole post is about simplicity(in terms of tech) and accessability(not using custom software or limiting yourself to a small toolset or container formats). Those are all about AI-tagging, online archiving, PDF, APIs, plugins, extensions. etc.
The "theory" is that they'd shut off multiple big solar farms during peak, to damage the grid. But it's literally just propaganda.
The personal-use solar inverters that let you check power generation from your phone, let you turn them off from your phone as well. And some people and groups have tried to shift that narrative to "ermegerd remote killswitches in industrial scale inverters". But those aren't hooked up to the internet and they're usually in grounded metal boxes. You can't easily get an outside signal to them.
Indeed, it's why Apple could be trademarked as the name of an electronics company. But you can't rock up to the trademark office and register "Pear" for a company selling pear-related products.
Thank you so much! Recently I have been trying to recall what bird made that sound in so many games and movies over the last decades. For some reason it is often put into jungle or lush biomes in games. And it has really annoyed me that I didn't remember what it was called.
Yeah, the way search engines have implemented LLMs have made it much worse.
You can go on google or duckduckgo and search for one thing, click the top link and click back after a few seconds. And the order of results has changed. So the second link you thought might have been correct(and was), is now 5-6 or lower. And the new second link is even worse than the first and usually generative content catered to the first link you clicked(wrongly).
No, people who commonly do bad things, will often justify it to themselves and others by thinking most people do the same thing. And despite their protesting and arguing, they're pretty much always wrong.
I've heard more than one petty thief confidently claim that "everyone" steals something like a candybar when they go to the store. And it's why there are so many stories of cheaters accusing their partner of cheating.
I wouldn't put it past him to pardon a dead man(he was the only one who died, the other victims have already been released from the hospital with minor injuries).
