She hasn't failed.

She has galvanized an entire fucking movement, facing death threats the whole damn way.

It's also not a zero sum game, we need quality leaders at all levels-- mayors, directors, board members, senators, etc.

We need as many as we can get, not just the presidency.

Cacao is a national treasure, and America floods Mexico with Hershey's, Snickers, and other subpar "chocolate" and destroys local competition with cheap prices.

Fun fact:

The word "chocolate" is derived from the Nahuatl word Xocholatl (chikola-tl).

He just sounds like a lunatic to me. I'm not even scared, just angry at this neverending circus when we need to be saving the planet.

And he's just one of many new powerful leaders.

We're all just tired of this system, you can see it around more and more every day.

They're saying we collectively as Americans tolerate a certain amount of fascism instead of fighting all of it.

Canadian allies, we need your help here.

Help us boycott and sabotage these capitalistic grifters.

Kindness and compassion towards life is how we heal the planet.

This does not mean we have to endlessly suffer their intolerance, or never punish the wicked and the greedy.

It means that when a tragedy befalls a problematic group of people, we empathize first and then after the immediate situation is adequately addressed, we demand accountability from everyone responsible.

Precisely where I was.

I was the third finance director for that division in two years, which is a terrible sign.

When interviewing, always ask about those who last filled the position and for how long.

I accepted a position at Amazon as a finance director for one of their many divisions, and it was hands down the most toxic work environment I have ever experienced-- and I've worked in public accounting for other a decade, so that's saying something.

I resigned within a couple weeks and found myself a much better job elsewhere.

Tax the rich instead.

A one million dollar donation to them it's like you donating $1.

They are not hard up for money, it's because they either only started for because someone advised them to in order to influence public opinion or because they are upset about something the charitable organization did or didn't do.

That's why you cannot count on the rich for anything. They are pedantic narcissists that demand constant validation, lest they use their money to destroy you.

It yielded excellent discussions between my partner and I. Our theory was that The Hollow and Kamen represented a codependent relationship, whereas Levi & Azi were a representation of adapting to a new environment and embracing change & independence.

And I don't necessarily mean romantic relationships. I am talking about relationships between people and also the relationships we have with our environments.

The planet is not hostile to humans. It's simply that humans are alien to it, thus it's more likely that humans will fail to thrive unless they learn to adapt.

The city has recently implemented transit signal priority through its centre — a feature some Torontonians say has been only partially implemented in Canada's largest city.

At the last protest, I embraced a crying queer young adult for over an hour, because they were completely beside themselves.

They had a mental breakdown because they didn't even realize they were living with so much stress and fear these past few months.

And when they finally summoned the courage to show up to their very first protest in their young life, they SO relieved that so many people CARED about that happened to them that it completely overwhelmed them.

So please and kindly, shut the fuck up.

The dad is just such a good person.

The googly eyes, the silliness, he just wanted to make his family smile.

More of this type of bird humor, please.
