I'm surprised LFS is still around. I used that on my main computer back when Linux kernel versions started with 2.4. it was my third distribution after red hat and Debian
Per se is doing a lot of work there. Sure, if the rich person and the poor person chose the same insurance company and the company doesn't deny coverage to the poor person (it doesn't matter for the rich one, since they can afford it) they could get the same coverage if they have equal quality hospitals nearby and the rich person is happy to be treated by their nearest in network hospital
But poor areas have worse hospitals
And when the rich one is president of the united states that one also has a staff medical team, and access to military medical units, and a plane and helicopter on hand to move him
Just regular rich have access to faster transport to better hospitals than the 99% can have
But yeah, on paper, ignoring effects from socio economic status and where the 99% live versus where the 1% live, versus where the .001% live it's all equal
People in teslas back when they did regularly catch fire from hitting road debris had no trouble pulling over and getting out before fire got into the cabin
They don't need electricity to open the doors, and owners should really tell passengers how to open the doors manually
Search for whichever model's user manual for your country if you want to see how to open the doors
The vehicle's battery was not damaged and did not catch fire.
The cargo area was full of fuel and explosives - in the form of firework mortars.
Explosives and fuel make a good fireball and fire. Fireworks being a 2 stage explosive (launch and pretty explosion), they may have expected the initial bang to disburse the fuel and the second to detonate it as a fuel/air explosive which would be very damaging, enough to take down the building.
Obviously were that their goal they did not sufficiently test. The vehicle contained the initial explosion and all they got was a fire
And the blast and fire exited through the passenger cabin, killing the driver. I hope it wasn't a valet.
I wonder if it was triggered accidentally early or badly set up and detonated on its own or remotely triggered too early.
I bet they thought they'd light up the battery. Poor quality bombers
My guess is it wasn't random, that the vehicle was intended to damage or destroy the building but it went off early and they didn't count on the vehicle being so resistant
It would have been pretty bad if it had been parked under the hotel and the battery had caught, but as it was the blast was directed up and into the cabin, and the fire was contained to the tray and the cabin leaving the battery safe
I think battery fires are self oxidising, you cannot suffocate them. The advice for small lithium cells for radio control toys was stand up wind, ideally have a steel bucket of sand to put it in.
Also discharge them completely as you can before disposal. The RC batteries had no protection so we could take them to zero volts
It's a parody conspiracy theory, in the same way as the flying spaghetti monster was a parody religion. People participated "eyes open" (aware it was parody, doing it as a joke) others adopted it "eyes closed" (believing it)
Also, a tip for cybertruck drivers: retract the tonneau cover while carrying explosives and dangerously flammable cargo to add armour between the cargo area and cabin
The driver wouldn't have been so exploded and burnt had they had the back opened and steel between them and the disaster in their cargo area
They did have explosives in there with them, at least in the form of firework mortars.

"somehow" Tesla armour their batteries well, also the fire was above the battery, little would have penetrated down to the battery and since the headlights stayed on during the doomed events, I expect battery cooling was active throughout
Everything I have heard is the cargo area was full of gasoline, camping gas, explosives including firework mortars
None of those things are prone to spontaneously catch fire or explode, so I expect it to be found to have been deliberate
I also expect that like the f150 lightning attack in New Orleans, this vehicle will turn out to have been hired.
I feel like a more flimsy vehicle would have released the fire and explosives more directly against the building, as it was it's only path out was the cabin via windows (the window to the cargo area, then the windows to outside)
Why wouldn't you like systemD? It's easier to learn than most distributions
I guess its commands are a bit long
