  • Honestly, as someone who has held similar customer-facing positions when he was younger: it's interactions like these that keep you going. It's even better when it's a government agency, because they're not trying to turn a profit so they're not going to bend over backwards to make a rich person happy.

The best is when people like this demand to speak to a superior, and then the superior comes over and says the exact same shit the employee just did.

  • Imagine thinking someone who works at the DMV gives a single shit who you are lol

  • Nice...

However, poor parents would have likely gone to prison and had their children taken away from them.

  • The photo of the shitty Logitech controller will never not make me laugh... Anyone who has ever handled a controller before knows those things are absolute garbage lol

  • That's fucking funny...

    Roger Waters and Pink Floyd.

Not even... It was him alone, which is always far more political and vitriolic. Everybody knows this. These were likely boomers who liked Dark Side of the Moon when they were kids, and 50+ years later decided to waste a shit ton of money on tickets, knowing nothing about the man.

  • Oh I see it now. Neat. I'm glad that there's an actual explanation. Thanks.

  • Maybe someone with more knowledge of photographic history can explain, but I thought early cameras required very long exposure time, and people had to stay perfectly still in order to capture a clear portrait of them.

If this is the case, then how does this photo appear to include people mid-stride? Or are they literally posing for this?

  • I've been running it on my laptop for months and it's been a fantastic experience

  • Right, but when they go after people who fraudulently write things off (either intentionally or not), who do you think they go after? The gig worker, or the multi-millionaire with a stable of attorneys?

  • Yeah, like the others said, it's bullshit MBA speak meant entirely for PR.

  • That’s it, thats what will help humanity achieve its true potential, by openai making $100b in profits.

    Yay capitalism! We did it!

  • Depends... Tax evasion is super illegal, and you will go to prison for it (unless you can afford good attorneys, then maybe not). That is different than simply not paying your taxes, but good luck getting away with that.

  • Churches should get tax deduction for money spent on real charity

As long as this shit is actually audited, because they 1000% will cheat on this.

  • Always just for the rich. When they reduce IRS funding, they audit low hanging fruit because it's much cheaper
