I still use discord, can't just leave gaming with my friends and I already look too much like a paranoid to convince them to switch to matrix or another FLOSS service
In the end I just uninstalled windows because every time I opened it, it tried installing all updates and I had to wait 20-30 mins to get to the desktop
In invincible there is a guy that lives so fast everything in his life is too slow so he can't concentrate in anything. I guess you can turn this superspeed on and off.
I'd much rather prefer the invisibility because I can just go to a bank and take some bills, put them in my mouth and launder them later. I don't want to be rich, just live confortably
With games I would take into account the average playthrough as I don't buy a game a month. You can then compute the average price per hour played and prize the subscription service according to that amount.
Also digital games for $70 is a scam, they should be cheaper than physical games. Sucks having gamers getting comfortable with not owning their games.
As far as I know piped gets the video from youtube and serves it to you so that youtube only sees traffic coming from the piped instance you are using. Using adblockers would give you the same benefits as using piped except for the anonymity. As long as tor gives you a good video quality, it is a better option than the frontend because you don't have a piped instance knowing your traffic.
I don't like my traffic being fingerprinted by youtube but can't handle the slow tor connections so I ended up using a frontend for youtube. The one I use is called Invidious.
Problem with apple is they only support their computers. For an os you can slap onto anything you should compare windows to linux. However the linux users proportion isn't that big to give an accurate comparison.
As always I like promoting open source frontends for these pages. For tiktok I use proxytok. For changing any tiktok link to one of these instances use the libredirect extension for firefox, it also works in mobile
After reviewing the settings, go to the cookies tab and copy the link under Search URL of the currently saved preferences:
Go to your Firefox settings in the three pointed menu
Go to general>Search>Manage alternative search engines>Add search engine
Paste the link you copied in the box called URL to use for search
Give it a name and Save it
Having added the search engine you can also make it the default if you want. You'll be able to select it by taping the icon with the search engines while typing a search string.
Edit: Corrected the place to get the search string url
If it's for work I don't have a problem, it's the company that's giving their data to the spyware, just don't give it too much personal information
