Furthermore, the ABC debate was already agreed to and scheduled. Why on earth would Harris agree to change the debate to a host known for spreading misinformation with an extreme right wing bias?

Trump chose to agree to this debate. He doesnt get to change the agreement after.

Read the first paragraph of the article. He was trying to dodge the ABC debate and instead have it on Fox. Obviously Kamala would not want to have the debate run by a company heavily biased towards her opponent.

That is only on rooted roms and ones using MicroG. GrapheneOS is generally not rooted and uses Google Play Services by sandboxing it. I am using RCS on my Pixel 7 running GrapheneOS.

It does work on GrapheneOS, but you need to have Google Play Services installed.

Every android that has Google Play services has RCS, they just need Google Messages to use it.

I'm interested in them finding a way to get AC working, but I really dislike this method of doing so. There are a ton of kernel variations, so this would really only work on specific distros and devices. This becoming standard would likely mean being unable to use optimized kernels, different schedulers, and other kernel modules like the ZFS drivers.

As far as I understand, the protocol and client apps are completely open souce. I do not believe the Bluesky software is open source, so you could not host an instance the same way you would with Mastodon. I could be missing something or not underatanding, but that's what it seems to me.

A great custom skin, and far better defaults for both privacy and speed, based on Betterfox.

Bluesky is built on an open source ActivityPub alternative called "AT Protocol". However, Bluesky itself is not open source* and afaik does not yet federate with any other software. The company is a "public benefit corporation".

From my understanding, Bluesky has good moderation, to the point where Jack Dorsey (the Twitter founder) condemned it and withdrew from the project. That's a big plus in my book.

When you try do sign up on the Mastodon app it defaults to and recommends mastodon.social, which does nothing of this sort. The average user will just keep this default and be fine.

I do really wish mastodon had normal quote replies. I believe they decided not include it for reasons related to harassment or bullying. I don't really get it since you can do practically the same thing but just linking to the post in yours. The mastodon UI even makes it look almost the same as a quote reply.

Aniwave was probably the best anime streaming site, mainly because its the only one with a functional watch together feature. I also haven't heard of any of the others though.

When I use open source software, I'll usually attempt to fix any small bugs I run into. I prefer to use an app made in a language I'm more familiar with to make this easier.

On CalyxOS my double press opens the Google Camera. I think because I disabled the default camera app.

The game does what its trying to do excellently, and knowing Valve it'll continue to improve until release. If you like MOBAs and you like good shooter mechanics, you'll most likely enjoy this game.

streamers don't owe playing a single game forever to their viewers. If you like the streamer you can follow them to another game, or you can find someone else to watch. It'd be very strange to expect someone to play to not play the game they enjoy most just because you subscribe to them on twitch, especially when you can stop subscribing whenever.
