Seems that you only like reading things that reaffirm your narrow world-view. I’m a liberal in many respects including a woman’s right to choose up to the time of birth. It is not an offense to read from different voices that might give clout to a viewpoint that you don’t necessarily support, just to see what evidence can be provided. Especially when the individual is so well accomplished and his sources are solid and well referenced. It’s not like I’m saying to read Robert Kennedy’s book, which has been thoroughly disproven.

Before you discard my opinions, as gen-Z likes to do, I’d recommend reading Black Rednecks and White Liberals.

My point is that engaged parents work. Homeschooling aside. Your seem fixated on that, but it wasn’t the main topic. You are diverting the conversation with a false dichotomy.

There are problems with anything. I’m not saying that’s the answer for everyone, but it’s better a lot of times than having disengaged parents. On the positive part of that spectrum, I’ve seen a fairly dumb kid, who was getting in with the wrong crowd be pulled from school by his parents and homeschooled such that he is now a doctor.

I know someone who was homeschooled atheist and became a doctor. Not sure what your point is. The parents cared about their education and raised them well.

Communities should have cultures that value education and shame kids for trashing the school. This doesn’t happen in other non-ghetto areas. Kids just go to school and learn like civilized people.

What a witty remark? I have an MBA and am more qualified to talk about socioeconomic circumstances than most. I’m done though with allowing people to play the systemic oppression card. At some point, people need to work on improving their culture from anti-education and anti-work to pro-education and driven. Black people want to make it all about their oppression, but my people went through the same bullshit including a holocaust and came here with nothing. They weren’t allowed in anyone’s clubs and were barred from many neighborhoods, but we valued education and hard work.

Ever hear of public primary and high school. It’s free. You just need to make the kids show up so that they don’t end up being criminals.

Or some of you will realize that you need to get an education and a job and help the others learn. The ones that don’t learn should be sent to a remote part of Alaska and provided survival manuals that they need to figure out how to use to build a civil society. Their will be sentries ala Escape from LA/NY and these criminals can either choose to live in peace or chaos. Drones will televise for entertainment.

Truth. It can stop if we get rid of the gangsters in the ghettos with their illegal guns. We don’t need more cops, just higher rent and taxes to price you out of your dwellings and force you to leave since you refuse to get an education and find jobs.

Israel allowed the Palestinians to have Gaza and the West Bank in the 90’s as a peace offering and for them to form their own government. They were headed for a two state solution at the time, but that got destroyed by religious people on both sides. After that, the governments of Gaza have used their territory to launch rockets at Israeli towns and cities. Israel continued to do business with these territories in order to help build them up in a way that would help them get educated and possibly assimilated into Israeli society, but they instead allowed their government to wage war on Israel. These people are refugees from Arab countries that won’t accept them. Israel graciously did and granted them their own territories. They were thanked for this by war. Sounds like a Palestine problem and not an Israel problem. We can get into the history of who is native to the land, but I assure you that you won’t win that.

I don’t know many open air prisons that have a defacto government that can declare war and has a military in the tens of thousands.

They should have their own infrastructure for these things if they want to claim their independence and declare war with Israel. Hamas, their defacto government, is committing the war crimes. IDF told the civilians to leave, so they can flush out the Palestinian military (Hamas), who are at war with Israel. The civilians did not leave and are aiding and abetting the enemy. That makes the adults insurgents and the children their fault for putting in harms way.

It’s not a war crime to stop doing business with a “country”.
