I thought maybe it was like a whipped cream “cake” but it does fly with some heft. It looks like person on left (her right) has their arm out which breaks impact which is good. I can’t imagine getting a full fucking sheet cake to the face.
That’s a big problem in makeup too! Companies want to put out “clean” and “natural” makeup but makeup isn’t typically used very quickly. Makeup with no preservatives going bad is common.
Cool! I read through the related articles after seeing your comment and yeah that’s what it looks like to me as well. Weird that they didn’t just…design their own if they weren’t going to pick an submitted design wholly but I also understand sometimes you need guidance to an idea then you can spring off of it to land with what you wanted but didn’t know how to get there. Lol. Regardless, I like it a lot especially compared to the old one. I live in a “seal flag” state and I hate it they’re so busy.
Edit: sorry my app was having issues and I replied multiple times!
I watched a guy on YouTube go through and judge a shit load of the submissions and I wish I could remember if he saw this one. Though I doubt it because there was an ungodly amount. This one definitely more aesthetically pleasing than the old one.
I swap back and forth between reading physical books and books on a Kindle. Some times when reading a physical book I almost try to press and hold on a word to get a definition if I don’t recognize it. I’ve thankfully never actually done it but only because I catch myself.
I suppose this is related to your “users are inactive” point but I also feel like it’s more common on Reddit to have multiple/alt accounts. Hell, in my time on Reddit I think I made 7+ accounts.
They may be confusing it with the family plan? Which is $23 for up to 5 people, which imo is a pretty good deal if you know 4 other people to go in on it.
I pay $10/year for my podcast app (Overcast). Considering it does everything I want it to do that a lot of other apps don’t (or didn’t, years ago when I started with Overcast), and I use it 8+ hours a day it seems reasonable.
I don’t even think they put that much effort in. I think they just took a photoshop brush and painted on the tint. The green bleeds onto their inner eyelids.
I’m mildly neurotic (if such a thing exists) about my app layout. I was so happy when Apple gave us the option to just not have apps install to home screens, and instead just stick in the list. I have a select few apps I use regularly that are in folders on my one single Home Screen, and the rest I get to by using spotlight.
I don’t necessarily judge those of you who go with the “they stay where they installed” approach, I just have a hard time grasping it from my side. Haha
Does she also just leave the apps in their original download place on her home screens? I always wonder about the lives of people who have like 5+ screen of unsorted apps.
