Loop habit tracker (2.2.0), but if you have Play store, it will bug you to update the app there, because the playstore version somehow has a newer version number (2.2.1).

If users wanted updates from Play Store, they would install the app from the Play Store.

People don't realize how much of reddit content is made by bot farms and advertising agencies, propaganda outlets with bots to spare. Which is what's keeping the normies entertained, not the nerds, not the niche community of a few thousand people.

People like the one you're replying to always are so sure their echo chamber is right when reality is like complete opposite. Most people on reddit are lurkers and not terminally online people. They just want to scroll and fucking waste time. Community, subs and their mods or rules be damned.

They don't care if the cat videos are on a banana sub. they'll happily upvote and scroll away while the terminally online will start complaining why the post is not fit, a repost, or against the rules for 100s of time. And as always, once they leave, they think it is dead.

The only app in my opinion that has kind of reasonable size is their voice recognition, while it looks kind of ugly compared to Transcribro.

I think an icon of a microphone for a STT app is much much much better than that UX disaster Transcribo is. lol

The .ml ccTLD was on a contract to a company called Freenom in the Netherlands until last year, then it went back to the Mali government. Freenom gave away domains for free until then. After the switch, the owners who didn't outright buy it lost their domains.

I've been wanting a ccTLD domain that's unused for a few years. The registrar suspended the domain (required contacts not updated) and put up a standard suspended notice, but doesn't release the domain.

I guess the owner is a domain squatter and keeps paying the bill, so the registrar keeps getting paid. Easy money

Google wants to imitate Apple pricing without the build quality, customer support, or performance to compare. Sales will tank then be on sale half off by Black Friday in some regions.

20 TB at that price range could brankrupt some small cloud providers. Selfhosting would be much easier without having to worry about space. IF the price stays the same, but we'll see.

It never fails to amaze me how purposefully dense people can be. There are literal thousands of more users who will use the app for free and ignore the minor inconvenience of ads by simply ignoring it or using an adblock. Believe it or not, the universe doesn't revolve around your personal needs. That 1 cent from a user becomes thousand with thousand users and grows thousand more if it's actually good. But you know all the ins and out of app dev since you mention lunar program approach. 🤦‍♂️

Or better yet, how about you develop software that doesn't just take up whateber is currentlt available RAM and power???
