I don't know why so many people in the fediverse consider Element a competitor to Discord. I regularly use Element, but the non-text functionality just isn't ready to point people at as an alternative. They will have a bad time and write off Element potentially forever if they are shown that app as an alternative right now.
Some examples of functionality that is important to discord but is not a good experience or is not ready in element yet: voice/video channels, screen sharing, custom emotes and reactions, channel organization and browsing (their latest attempt just doesn't do it for me).
Additionally, there are times when encryption just has a hiccup still or someone sets it up wrong and things can be messy because of it.
I really like element and they've done a good job so far, but It's just not ready for people to be pushed there from discord.
Some people are downvoting you but you're right. No other application is this all in one package. My only issues with input devices have been Windows' fault, too. I don't like Discord's closed ecosystem and data privacy concerns, but the feature set is unmatched, especially at the amount of polish they have and their price.
Side note, people please stop using it as an alternative to a proper forum.
I was being genuine since the comment read to me like it could have had some tongue in cheek, didn't mean to cause any harm and did not mean to have these kinds of votes attached, sorry.
I've really been enjoying watching Northernlion figure out this game. Glad it's out so I don't have to watch runs based on the same 4 jokers and 3 decks anymore!
There's a movie, too! It's a fun watch. I imagine the next season will kick off where the movie ends. Not gonna spoil what happens in there.
As for sword guy, I don't think he stood a chance against some of the enemies the group has cheesed their way through, but I could be wrong - I've also only seen the animated stuff.
Some of the water is inside the map and is interactable, the rest is prebaked
