Updating user agent doesn't natter unless NYT is actively blocking that, too. Updating robots.txt is purely a "gentleman's agreement" that OpenAI will respect it. OpenAI would be dumb to ignore it, hat all said, because it'd trigger the lawyer shenanigans to ensue.
I down vote any post on here that mentions X, Twitter, or Elon, usually without even reading them. I made an exception to post this reply, but did down vote the OP.

As an iOS user, I'll just say "slide to type" is better than "hammer thumbs". Until the iOS keyboard gets that on all platforms, 3rd party is my go-to.
Retail managers are about the dumbest people I've ever worked with. All they know how to do is boss people with passive/submissive personalities around (poorly) and make up rules when things go awry. Also shifting blame onto others is a key skill in retail management.
I think that's a bit misleading, TBH. The attack was fairly well planned, and far from just a bunch of hillbillies. Yeah, they were a part of it, and part of the plan, but summarizing them as the brains behind the coup attempt is undercutting the risk of it being tried again.
Only if they proceed AND websites enforce it. The last reply I read from the Googler that was part of the draft spec said they were building in a guardrail that prevents sites from outright blocking non-compliant clients without also blocking a not insignificant portion of their desired userbase.
I'm sure GA will, at best, slow walk this. I thought the GOP was all about "state's rights" and all that...
