It’s basically some sort of Enshitification: AI does the job bad in short time so the company can make more? Quality is not important as long as a shitty version of the product can go live.
In Germany we have an initiative called Freifunk (roughly „Free Wireless Radio“). They are building free wifi mesh networks in larger cities. Their members use their ISP connection with special mesh network router software. The initiative collects donations to improve their infrastructure and fend off liability claims.

Hitler building the (first) Autobahn is a myth constructed by nazi propaganda. Repeating it is just falling for their lies.
That being said of course it is a very important piece of infrastructure today, but that is due to decades of car industry lobbying and the lack of funding for other transportation and transit infrastructure projects. Especially trains would be able to transport more people and goods faster if build properly.
