Where's that "have the day you voted for" meme? It's the only worthwhile response to these folks nowadays.

Honestly, though governmental budgets are so beyond the pale for the average citizen and walking them through the downstream effects is probably not doable wih the average attention span.

They're never going to hear this on fox much less conservative radio, or Sinclair much less farther right sources.

They keep removing any generals who don't fall in line. The Greenland base's vice chief got removed, that female admiral got removed, the joint chief dude got removed. Who knows how many lower level officers have been removed or had promotions revoked. For all the talk about military being trained to protect constitution the majority of grunt training is about following orders. It has to be to override natural resistance to killing people.

A lot of it is laziness but on the other hand my boss will often cc me on irrelevant emails, rather infamously sometimes forward an entire 20 responses email chain and tell you to read it, and send 8 paragraphs of questions with only one related to me. Emails and texts need to be succinct. The higher up the chain you go the more true this is. The higher up the chain the more emails you get think 200+. If someone writes a paragraph you're skimming for relevance generally.

Tldr; professional communication does not need length. Justify your questions separately from actual bulleted or numbered questions.
