This was the part that I wouldn't do just because I view the sink as mostly clean and plunger as mostly dirty. So unless I were to sterilize the sink afterwards I wouldn't put a plunger in the sink.
This is a good steel man response, very much like Facebook posts I have seen lately. It's really sad how much the right has abandoned listening to experts and just assuming we can apply "common sense" answers to fix problems that are complicated.
I didn't get through it. I agree with your comment about the characters not resonating. I got about a third of the way in and just decided to go on to the next book in my pile.

My 4 year old's memory ability is all over the place. One day forgets mid sentence what he was talking about about or can't remember if he is wearing pants, then later says, "remember 3 months ago when you promised me a Popsicle" or repeats verbatim the theme song for some random show.
They make what is called a studor vent for this situation. Not sure if there are code restrictions for different areas. If allowed you can put them under sinks etc to get better venting of sewer lines.
Wish I could try Wayland, can't seem to get it to load. Fortunately when they pushed the update of Wayland as default they didn't remove x11 support. Still been pretty happy with kde neon for the last few years
Bit difficult to keep using it since they killed sms interoperability. I understand the security concerns but if no one uses it, doesn't really matter does it.
The planet money podcast has had several episodes where this has come up. I think the last one about the resistance to free filing tools is a good one
