@sonori yea, not all suppliers of Lithium and other produce for modern batteries are bloody dictatorships. But sadly the whole world does not rely solely on them.

@sarmale poor maintenance maybe? Does it look all blue with white text when sitting right in front of it? Or is it yellow-tinted as well? In Brașov I saw the screens looking like that. In Bucharest at the main departure/arrival board (in Gara de Nord) they looked more blue (whether this is due to better maintenance or because they are newer, I don't know).

For any international audience: these screens have become quite common in our train stations in Romania as of late, and they show the train arrivals/departures.

@tesseract Yea, I was thinking about using aliases and alias providers as a middle-man to send&receive emails to&from providers that are known to be hard to tackle for people self-hosting their email. I understood from the article I linked that setting up an email server and maintaining it is a hassle itself, but I was wondering whether doing what I said above does make things easier for me or if it would be an extra burden.

@sarsaparilyptus We've got guards on pretty much all the entrances, so the likeliness of you getting caught is pretty big (not guards as in Half Life, with guns or stuff like that, usually it's just some old guy watching people there, but still).

@throwslemy I just read about this guy on a Telegram channel that I follow (content is in Romanian). What the hell?!? How can people actually vote for a crazy dude like him?!? There's a shitload of stuff that he wants that even a moderately right-wing person would disagree.
