Anyway, my point is that he's not some tech startup CEO who hires engineers off shore. He's the equivalent of someone who bought a convenience store franchise license to "run his own company".
I looked this guy up. In addition to having the most generic white person name ever, and a face that I'm starting to suspect is an AI composite from the prompt of "generic professional white boy", his website is a shitty SquareSpace template where the links don't even work and the images are all generated as well.
His only claim to fame is owning a no-name storage unit business which anyone with some land and Pods can do.
I think this is a scammer who preys on "entrepreneur" wannabes.
The reason they are cheap and dedicated is because they are desperate, living in a country where if they didn't have this job they would literally be starving and in poverty.
So CEOs like this are simply capitalizing on their desperation to save money from hiring domestic workers who have a better safety net. Absolutely disgusting pieces of trash.
Also why does this guy who looks like a 19 year old frat boy believe anyone should listen to his advice?
The advice is usually pretty common sense and likely nothing you haven't heard before. The main benefit is having a safe space you can discuss your anxieties with a professional and having someone who will listen with minimal judgement. Also sometimes you need to be reminded of common sense when you lose sight of it.
Basically it's a paid friendship without all the other benefits of friendship.
Honestly I wouldn't be going if it weren't fully covered by my husband's insurance.
If you want to avoid politics go on Pinterest or something. Nearly every discussion based social media will trend toward politics because that is the shithole we're in now.
i mean I think I got that. I meant what is literally happening in this photo? What are these kids riding on? Why is that other kid curled up in a ball on the bathroom floor? What led to this photo being taken?
They ... held the exact same stance as Trump currently holds
This lie is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Yes Democrats support Israel but there is no instance where they called for literal starving and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by pushing them out of their country.
Their goal was and has always been a two-state solution. Trump's current stance is a one-state solution where the other state becomes a golf course.
I highly doubt the genocide as we are seeing it today would be happening if Harris had won. This plan at the very least wouldn't have been proposed by the American president and received a rubber stamp of approval by the US government. We would have likely ceased aid to Israel by now and mobilized the UN to inflict other penalties.
That's why I let them do it. If it would have harmed them seriously or someone else I would have stopped it. But still doesn't make it less stupid. They put themselves in legit pain due to peer pressure.
If anything it served a good lesson so they might be less likely to succumb to peer pressure on things which may cause real harm in the future.
I used to have one as my primary work device for a few years. Honestly, it was surprisingly usable once you find online analogs for all typical things you do on a computer.
The biggest issue is you'd be using a free online service for some application, and then they start charging per month or the company goes under and you lose your work, so you have to keep finding new services and exporting your work to a common format that won't disappear to a central file system like Drive diligently.
I used to be a teacher in the 2010s. I remember boys having this ghost pepper challenge they would do that would put them in literal tears.
I never stopped them. Some just have to learn through experience that being an idiot to impress your buds isn't going to result in a good time for you.
Daddy probably bought it for him.
